“Don't want your memory In my head now I want you here with me.”
Bekka pulled up in her cool car at the house they had decided to raise the boys in. “Are you happy now Tyga?” He was already so spoiled. She looked in the rear view mirror and she was smiling absentmindedly because she was happy to be back here and have a home to come back to. Bekka grabbed her keys and headed inside the house. She was nervous because she wasn’t sure how things were going to go since she broke it off with him one too many times. Bekka walked in disappointed she didn’t see Dimitri on the sofa asleep with a book in hand. Bekka stood there with a single fresh rose in her hand because she wanted him back so she planned on offering him this single rose as he did to her when the were first blossoming. A few rooms later had her back to the kitchen and she placed the rose in a vase in the kitchen table. “Where has daddy gone?” She shook her head in frustration.
Bekka called Dimitri a dozen times and still no answer and the later it got the more concerned she became.
Bekka knocked on Vera’s door, “Hey Chuck,” She said to the little red head who opened the door. “Who is it Chucky darling?” Vera asked peeping around the door. “Is something wrong with Carter!?” she knew it was odd Bekka was here without her pal. At the mention of Dim’s name Bekka shook her head because Vera didn’t know where in the world Dimitri was. “I can’t find him! Do you think he’s been abducted again?” She asked concerned. Vera gave Bekka stink eye, “Don’t come up in here acting like you gave a damn about Carter. You didn’t get to see him like myself and the entire until did after you left him! You should be ashamed! I haven’t heard from him all day but I can tell you the last text he sent me said he was still alive but that was yesterday.” Bekka took scalding from Vera because well she deserved it. “He text that? Why would he feel the need to tet that? Was he thinking he would be dead by now?” Bekka asked Vera and she was upset with herself. “Are you retarded?’ Vera asked, “Hey don’t day that word. I do not tolerate that word.” Bekka Says because it was sensitive for her brother Carl. Vera rolls her eyes, “Just as I thought. You were his heartbeat. He survived off the thought of you. Lord only knows why! You left him. His life plus support was pulled and poor Carter is probably put there somewhere with a rope around his neck dangling from a tree limb.” Vera shook her head shaming Bekka. Bekka hung her head and cried, “Please, Vera…I need to find him. I need your help.” She sobs. “He can’t be dead we have babies on the way.” She sniffles. Vera grabs her jacket. “Jerome be a good big brother and look after Chuck. Mommy loves you both and I’ll brb.” She kisses them both and walks to her car. “I drive Banes,” She said and Vera and Bekka were off to search for Dimitri.
Vera stops at Reese and Nova’s apartment. Bekka knocked on the door and Nova opened it. “What!?” She was annoyed cause Cakes wouldn’t stop crying. “Hi. Um, I know this feels really out of place for the both of us but I’m looking for Dimitri.” Bekka awaited an answer. Nova bounced Cakes on her hip. “And Why would I know where he is? Say it. Say why I would know…” Nova wanted to hear the words daughter come out of this bitches mouth. “Uhm, because.” Bekka shrugs. “Because why? How am I related to him again?” Nova asks leaning in a little. “Because you’re his.” Look, do you know where he is?” Bekka was getting pissy. “I’m his daughter. His first born. His Nova. But no I don’t know where Daaad is. I do know that he’s been spending time with my mom.” She smirks. “Where’s your mom?” Bekka questioned. “Ehh, idk. Probs at the bar working.” Nova sighs. “Okay, that’s where I’m going next.” Bekka said and walked back to the car. “Let me know what’s going on with my Daaad!” Nova said and shut the door.
Bekka and Vera pulled into the bar parking lot. “Look!” She smiles,”It’s his car!” Bekka was relieved as she announced to Vera his car was there. Bekka anxiously rubbed her tummy. “The bar is closed!” Vera said, “His car shouldn’t be here.” Vera got out looking in at his car. “He’s not here.” Bekka got out of the car and looked around the building even trying to get in but no luck. “He has to be here!! Unless something terrible happened…” She was getting the flashback feels about how it was when he didn’t come back into the funeral home. “What now!?” Bekka tossed her hands in the air. “He waz here for skank SO now we have to find out we she could be….” Vera walking back to the car. “Who’s that pulling in here?” Vera questioned. Bekka tried calling Dimitri once more but still no answer.
“I don’t know who it it..Why does it matter? Where are we going? Can we try and track his phone?” Vera looked over at Bekka, “No.” Vera was mad she didn’t think of this and didn’t want to look like a fool. “Oh.” Bekka replies.
Vera tucked her gun in the back of her pants. “You better pack a gun too.” She said and Vera noticed that it was Dusty who pulled in the parking lot. “Yo Dust the pussy bust-er.” Vera meant business with him. “Where’s Nora?” Bekka stood behind Vera because this was just strange.
