I kept forgetting my nighttime antidepressant so I set an alarm where the sound was a recording of me saying "HEY. TAKE YOUR FUCKING PILL" because I thought it would be funny. It was funny about three times, and then it started making me mad and I'd dismiss it right away to make it stop. So I handed my phone to my partner, who made another recording sweetly saying "Okay Shira, it's time to take your medication" and now I don't get mad anymore and I take my pill. The "compassion over punishment" camp has gotta get something wrong one of these days

Ok like. Imagine life without ads. You wake up, check your messages across a variety of apps, no ads. You get up and put on the tv while you prep your breakfast, no ads. Maybe you drive somewhere and switch on the radio, no ads. Maybe you drive a long distance, yet somehow, not a single billboard on your path. You pick up a newspaper or magazine to pass the time, no advertisements only articles. You turn on your game console, the home screen is just about your games, no ads to buy more. You open a streaming app, you don't pay extra for no ads, there's just no ads ever.

Think about how much of your time is spent looking at ads. "Download ublock" yeah I know, I have. But that doesn't change that the world is covered with endless advertising. Imagine never seeing that again. How much better our lives would be.

i hate my dad cuz this fucking asshole keep telling me to pick up shit that's not even affecting him and theoretically in 3 and a half hours he's gonna take all of my stuff and throw it out and honestly i just wanna start chugging pills the moment he does. the lock boxes do nothing now, they mean nothing. ive had access to my medication 1 months post suicide attempt. its so fucking easy to get into them when you dig around your parents shit often enough. they don't even care. im just biding my time until i can move out. i really need a job and less medication. i haven't been okay for awhile. i should write something up

getting back into undertale and starting watching deltarune play throughs because my best friend is obsessed with it and these are my headcanons for if chara and frisk where in deltarune

just for a bit of background, in undertale i think chara was about 10-11 when they "fell* down into the underground and they were about 12-13 when they died. subsequently i think frisk is a bit younger, 9-10 years old and chara does their best to guide them as basically an eternally 13 year old

in deltarune id like to think that asriel was roomates with chara and frisk and chara were childhood best friends (alternative universe and all)

I think "fuck you, I hate your work and I will do it myself and I will do it better" is a really funny and epic sentiment. i started publishing poetry because an ex boyfriend of mine was publishing really ass poetry in a bunch of journals and I was like "Jesus christ, this is garbage, I could do that, and I could do it better." now I have a page in the Academy of American Poets and I've published a full length collection and his website says "former poet." You should win by succeeding way harder than they do. Spite is a legitimate energy source.
