       “Just what do you think you’re staring at?” Cue a slightly awkward and judgmental gaze toward the other.

“You know. People whom say that are actually hiding something.”

Drinking a little more before placing the water back down and burying his head back into his pillow, he glanced up at the other. “Ah, it’s really much appreciated…thanks again…although, may I ask, what made you come here…? Like, why’d you want to help me?” He didn’t mean that in any rude or ungrateful way, as he feared it may be interpreted, he was just curious…

“I-I... D-Don’t like the idea o-of hearing others in a bit of stress...S-So I like to help as b-best as I can..”The Cubone Gijinka had gained a bit of confidence from already doing these actions, so she was a little fine with admitting how she felt about it, but she was still shy and nervous about it.

 "Um…“ He thought about anything that could make him feel even slightly better. ”…Maybe some water would help with my throat…? If it’s not too much…“

The Cubone Gijinka returned a short time later of course, placing a cup of water next to the other, it was the best she could do of course. She couldn’t just go through the whole house looking for bottles of water. As she waited and hoped for better results.

“Whatcha’ mean? Told ya, lookin’ fer company willin’ to drop some drinks my way, s’only two am the night is pretty young… Speakin’ ’bout young, what are you doin’ walkin’ the streets like this? You a prostitute? I know some people if ya wanna be set up with some sisters n’ shelter, y’know s’fuckin’ cold out at night lately don’t want ya to freeze, yeah?”

“Believe me. If I was, I certainly wouldn’t want anything to do with the likes of you. Besides, one like me is more used to a time like this, where the most common idiot is normally sleeping. Or in this case, standing right in front of me.”The Dusknoir Gijinka just sighed a little.”You have better chance at chatting up the air then you have with me.”

Oh well. That didn’t matter too much, anyway - besides, maybe someone else brought them here. Either way, they certainly had good intentions - that much was clear. “Sorry to concern you…I’m just resting up for a bit…no need to worry!” He shoved his head back into his pillow and coughed a bit, one hand rubbing his head a bit in hopes to ease the headache.

“A-A- small cough like that c-can get worse...”She paused for a minute, she didn’t want to continue much in case if it got on their nerves. She’d hate that after coming all this way.”A-Are you s-s-ure you’ll b-be fine...? A-A-nything I-I can d-do to help...?”

 “Hey sweetie, how ‘bout a little company tonight?” 

“...You really sure on that? I‘m not exactly ‘sweet’ as one may think. I will chat and talk, but that will be all you’ll get out of me. Nothing more than that.”As the Dusknoir Gijinka took another sip of her drink.”Though. I am curious to why you are out so late at night.”
