So this D&D session ended on another cliffhanger. We delivered the deciphered note back to the cell leader (the note was written by her fallen husband; she did not handle it well) and decided to go after the necromancer next, but while we were plotting how to do that the BBEG's minions' minions came running in. So the sorceress set them all ablaze and the rebels killed the ones who survived.
We decided to follow the mine into the town the necromancer is hiding in, and the sorceress went invisible to scout it out. Raphael, meanwhile, keeps whispering in her ear and taunting her to turn on us, which she mostly restrains the urge to do. She finds her way in and scopes it out, then returns and guides us to the entrance of the mine inside the city.
Raphael THEN SAYS, "hey wouldn't it be funny if you just. Screamed. Really loud. :)" And she decides to listen to THAT, then go back invisible. So now our 4-person party, one of whom may or may not be actively hindering us, is panicking and preparing to fight like 10 underlings.
