To say Sol has been having a rough couple of days was a bit of an understatement, but she was trying her hardest to keep her emotions at bay while at work. It was working for the most part, but she also knew that she was failing in most other parts. For one, she hadn’t brought coffee for the office in two days. Not to mention, she wasn’t nearly as talkative as she usually was, but if anyone asked, Sol was simply going to say she felt under the weather, not that it was entirely a lie. The clock had struck the lunch hour, and instead of waiting to go out somewhere, Sol decided to make her way down a corridor and sit on the steps to enjoy a sandwich by herself. She was on the second bite of her turkey sandwich when she heard footsteps coming down the stairs; softly sighing, she braced herself for the interaction to come. “Mr. J!” Sol softly exclaimed, jumping a bit, “H-hi, I probably look a little weird eating lunch here of all places. I’m just trying to escape the cameras a bit.” She admitted, softly laughing a bit. “I can get out of your way. Sorry about that.”

He had a hectic day so far, stressful. A few clients weren’t exactly happy, or they weren’t returning. Things like that made Jesse....uneasy. Dunder Mifflin had lasted this long, it certainly wouldn’t go under with him at the reigns. He needed a few moments to breath. No cameras, no one watching his every move.

The sigh of Sol did give him the slightest jolt, though this ended quite quickly. “Hey, Sol. How are you doing?” He paused, listening to the young woman speak and offered a kind nod in return. “Trust me, I understand more than anyone. I come here sometimes too. The cameras can be a bit much. It’s a lot.” He pulled out his own lunch. Chicken and rice, of course. “No no, how about we eat together today? No work talk involved. What’s going on in your life?”

Aiden had been with his daughter in the living room,hand wrapped and guitar in his hand. The male began to play the riff for his song Drunk Face as he strummed his guitar with his free hand. He began to sing the song as he heard a knock on the door as he looks over at Nicola, handing her his pink guitar and said ”Hold this for daddy and stay here.” The blonde made his way over to the door as he said “Oh, Just you. You here to fire me?” Aiden had asked as he held the door for her as he heard Nicola say “Daddy whos that?” The older male said “It’s daddy’s boss. Can you go play for a bit please, princess.” He kisses her forehead as she ran off to play and sat down ”How can I help you, Jesse?”

Aiden’s attitude didn’t exactly inspire welcoming in the way Jesse had hoped. He glanced around before entering in, offering not much other than a hello. When Aiden sat down, Jesse committed to standing. Considering the outburst just a few hours ago, he would have to maintain composure.

“Aiden... what happened back there, man?” Jesse ran a hand over his head. He hadn’t exactly had to deal with a wild assistant manager in quite some time. “We gotta talk about it. I know things have been hard for you. So what’s going on?”

“Fucking bullshit is that? I have more than a few braincells to rub together, you know? I was in that stupid meeting, and who wasn’t. Oh, right, you. Got up and left the moment I walked in the bullpen. Important call or something?” Eyeing him, she had to admit this was an interesting position she found herself in, having one over on her boss… and oh what a good one over it’d been. She’d gone all out for this man and the fact that he couldn’t face her all day told that it’d been a job more than well done. “Fine, Jesse,” Purring his name she let it roll of her lips sweet and warm like melted caramel. “Why does it look like I’m here? Because you’re acting all awkward and shit and that can’t stand when we work together. So… you and I are going to go have a beer and hang out, you’re gunna extract your comfort stick from your ass, and we’re gunna get over this ridiculousness before it starts. You’re driving. And like you said, you let us go twenty minutes ago, so… you’re off the clock and not my boss right now, so you can’t even use that as an excuse.” 

Briar was not the type of woman that Jesse generally found himself involved with. Although the moment they shared had been good at the time... it had become somewhat of a regret. Her personality intimidated him. Perhaps that was the wrong word. As she spoke, he began to become angry. “Get in the car, Briar.” his eyes slanted, the tone assertive, borderline hostile. He understood she was trying to charm him, but this sort of appearance rubbed him the wrong way. As he got in the driver’s seat, he turned to look at her- piercing blue eyes sharp as a stone.

“You need to stop it. This act...drop it. I’m your boss. Yeah, let’s get it out of the way- like you want. We fucked. But this... whatever it is that you are attempting to do? Enough of that.” It was stern. Women who were confident knew how to work a man, he knew this. It wouldn’t work with him though. “If you want a drink, we can get a drink- but only if you drop the flirty play with me.”

stephen chuckled and nodded. “I guess so dude.” He said with a shrug of his shoulders. “but it happens. when you spend so much time with someone you like, it’s natural. i’m also not surprised with this lot. everyone is one giant ball of horny hormones.” he laughed and shook his head again. “so bad that even our boss had his own romp.” stephen winked and nudged jesse. 

“yeah, yeah. You work with her, you hang out with her, you sleep over... word gets around you know. Plus, I do look at the employees instagram’s from time to time.” he grinned. giving the other man a slight pat on the shoulder. “She seems nice, anyways, mine turned into a wife.” of course, Jesse left out the present ex-wife situation. He didn’t want to squander the positive moment with his own experience.

Having been waiting at the corner of the building nearest the front door of the building for him to leave, Briar pushed off as she saw him pass her, tossing her cigarette to the ground and snuffing it out before starting over to catch up with him. “Hey, Bossman… wait up.” Catching up just as he was pulling open the driver’s side door, she lifted a hand to lean on it, locking one of her signature grins on him. “You avoiding me, or what?”

Jesse was poised, though not exactly ready for the sneaky, stalking action of the woman. He could sense her there. In earnest, he had been avoiding her. He had told himself that he would never start another fling, or relationship, ect with someone he worked with. Not after what had happened with his ex wife. Guess that worked out well. “Briar, I’m not ignoring you or avoiding you...or..” he looked down, gathering his keys in a rather confident way. “Don’t call me that, okay? It’s Jesse, or you can call me Mr. Green. That seems a little too formal though.”

Lets just say I see everyone equally, okay?

Penny and Skyler need to make their relationship more private.They have to keep their PDA out of the work place.
