(Deep breath) i define “bisexuality” as “an attraction to men and women” because that is the definition i have been taught. trans women and trans men would fall under the umbrella of “men and women” because being trans does not stop you from being a man or woman. if by “trans people” you mean “non-binary people”, that would fall under the umbrella of “pansexuality” —again, so I have been taught. if some people define bisexuality as “attraction to all genders” then i have been unaware of this until this moment

Its not really fair to blame you though, we get mis-represented a lot. But I can pull out a ton of bisexual organizations that have used that definition for years, so it isnt a totally new development.

it has absolutely not a goddamn thing to with the “stigma” of calling myself bisexual, and by the way, very nice slick way to imply im biphobic even as im calling myself pan!!!!! i refer to myself as pansexual because there is a difference between bisexuality and pansexuality, bisexuality is an attraction to men and women, and pansexuality is an attraction to people of all genders

Most bisexual organizations use "attraction to both ones own gender and other genders as well" and have for years
