Robin’s on duty while the caped captain is out on business. The fierce ole chum gives it his best to infiltrate sandman’s hideout and bust his newest operation, but the poor boy wonder is out beaten and played with. What cruel ending does sandman have planned for the boy wonder???

Nothing puts the boy wonder in a foul mood than a series of quiet Gotham nights. An eager Robin impatiently waits for the bat signal to light the sky to get his hands busy with some face to face action.

Once awake, Robin finds himself tied up and going under riddler’s brainwashing rays which will have him under his command. And to remain in command, the Boy Wonder is ordered to slip on a control garter. As long as it’s on Robin’s leg, the helpless sidekick will be faithful to the Riddler! Will Batman be able to swoop in for a saving?

My interpretation of the book cover

Brett and Lucas Tucker where investigating a string of bank robberies. The thief hardly left any clues behind, but what little ones he did, the brothers soon traced it back to an old abandoned house. Yosemite Sam turned out to be the robber, but before Brett and Lucas could arrest him, they were knocked out. They awoke bound and gagged to chairs with dynamite sitting in between them ready to explode. Yosemite used the secret passage behind the clock to escape from the blast.
