New au idea based on Little Donny’s and Donut the Dog’s Time Leap series! (kinda revamped of the same au if I remember correctly I dunno I can’t remember for shit): so Donut’s still a time leaper in this au and somehow Donny died and Data (the fuck ass hologram that made them both time leapers in the first place) is of course not phased in the slightest as it’s new task is to have another to fill in Donny’s role, but Donut interjects, obviously not fond of some stranger filling in Donny’s role and of course bros still fucking grieving and has anger issues and is overall not a good mix either but anyway, Donut, out of desperation begs Data to do something to fix this mess or whatever, and so Data, who is claiming that this might go against all laws and Donut’s all like “I don’t care, I just want him back!” And Data relentlessly provides Donut with the ability to tune back time however he wishes and thus opens another portal for Donut to jump into and to hop into another person’s body and to basically try to prevent Donny from this gruesome fate. And every single time he fails, he resets and goes into a new body and tries again, and he keeps at this for months, years even, growing colder and more and more determined to try to save Donny’s life. Literally becoming the only damned thing left to guide him. Each broken portal or clock that like keeps on ticking is a manifestation of Donut’s driving salvation constantly driving him through an endless loop. Thus making him completely obsessed with the determination to change Donny’s fate. And as for broken clocks and ones that are at a complete stop or a minute or two ahead at up to a certain time represents Donny’s death and his unchanged fate.
That blue thing in the photos is Data by the way
I’ve written a few things to get the general idea of it I guess so here we go
The first one goes as follows:
Who knows how long that Donut has gone back in time for. Months? Years? He had lost count ages ago, yet the driving salvation to save Donny’s life was at stake. It was the only reason as to why he made that godforsaken deal after all. Like an angel guiding him continuously every loop. New loop, different body, yet same goal. Every time he’d fail, he’d scream out his frustrations until his throat was raw and rewind again. It was the same thing over and over. With every loop that passes by, the same damn thought remains: “Will he ever succeed?”
The second written thingy is one I’ve wrote recently, and I genuinely believe that I’ve cooked. It goes as follows (instead of it being from a third person perspective, I’ve written in Donut’s perspective on this, so enjoy):
Your death became my salvation
The only thing left to guide me through this wretched hell
No matter how many bodies I had to leap into, how many times I’ve tried to convince you with my words and actions alone.
Your deadly fate always found a way to creep its way up on you
What must I do to convince you to not become a time leaper?!
What can I do to change your fate?
There has to be a way, surely there has to!
If your fate has found a way, then why haven’t I?
Nevertheless, I must keep going, keep rewinding, keep rewriting this godforsaken timeline and suffer with the memory of your repeated death over and over again
I might not been the same person you once knew
But it has to be this way
At least until I can finally find a way to save you.
