" 1986 Ducati F1 750 race bike. Log booked Period 6. The bike is fully sorted and ready to race, with all the paraphernalia needed to just take it to the track and go. I’ve owned the bike for the past 12 years and have spent more time and money than I care to think about, getting it to the stage it’s at now. Sadly, the bike is easy to improve but the human body definitely has its limitations, which is my reason for selling it.

The F1 had a very limited production run and is widely regarded as one of the peaks in Ducati’s race-bred road bikes. This one was turned into a race bike pretty much as soon as it arrived in Australia from Italy, being raced under various sponsor’s names in NSW and Victoria before being brought to South Australia where it was extensively modified and continued to be raced as a 905cc.

It has proved to be very fast and sweet handling, and with a dry weight of just 145kg it is a delight to ride and steer.
