Blue Tongue Grass:

A plant native to the MANNSKA planet, WAIPOK. If compared to plants on Earth, BTG could closely resemble succulents. A single blade can contain huge amounts of water/sap and is drought resistant (perfect for WAIPOK's dry climate).

For about one week in spring, during the afternoons, the BTG release seeds from the small opening at the top of the plant, allowing the seeds to get carried away by the wind. The seeds are slightly luminescent, and shine brightly in the afternoon sun. There is a MANNSKA festival dedicated solely to this one week of the year, where they go to sit in BTG fields and watch the glowing seeds fly away.
