it will be a new series - SPX is not a one-off book and weâll find out more about exactly how many more books thereâll be in the coming months; new series will henceforth be referred to as âphase 2âł for ease
plot has been in the works for a while now and has been planned out in intricate detail; this new series was first conceived mid-LSODM writingÂ
set a few months after val returns to ireland;Â âsheâs still trying to adjustâ
new male main character named âomen darklyâ; heâs a sorcerer born into magic, giving a deeper insight into the culture and traditions of the magical communityÂ
dexter vex and saracen rue will return
not all surviving characters from the original series will, however
valkyrie will be 24 in the new book
xena will still be around
alice will also feature (now six years old!)
tanith confirmed to return but will not appear in every new book, as sheâs busy fighting off her own inner demons following her remnant posession
the book will maintain a similar tone (and target demographic) as TDOTL, but valkyrieâs POV chapters will be somewhat more âadultâ
a lot of unanswered questions from phase 1 will be answered in future books; darquesseâs fate, saracenâs power, valâs blood, etc.
roarhaven will play a large part in phase 2, and so will the relationship between the magical community and the mortal world
the storyline will possibly take val, skul and omen on international adventures
