He would have called it a âslow dayâ, but usually most days were like this in the tiny cafe. it was nice that way though, so people said. At the very least, Akira enjoyed the fact that, with Sojiro out for the day, and Futaba declaring she was having a âbinge watching dayâ, it had given him some time to himself... after all, Morgana wasnât.... around anymore.
Maybe it wasnât professional, to be leaning on the counter slightly, a book in hand, eyes behind glasses skimming the pages, but he didnât really have much else to do. That was until the door opened with a familiar chiming sound, and that carefully made mask had to be slipped on once more.Â
âWelc--â His voice died out in his throat, blinking at the customer that had walked through the door. He... seemed familiar. Very familiar. Familiar in that kind of way where you were sure you had seen someone before but couldnât place them for the life of you. Everything about him screamed âYou know this personâ, but, for the life of him, Akira couldnât place it. âAhem. Welcome.â Quickly recovering, book would be pocketed into his apron, turning to face the young man. âWhat can I get you?â
