It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours. It’s an album I wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making tracklist after tracklist, obsessing over the right way to tell the story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now. Therefore, you have 6 From The Vault tracks! I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and the memories it brought back filled me with nostalgia and appreciation. im literally only on chapter nine 🧍‍♀️

like just imagine little 11 year old sirius black, who only just barely finished learning english and still has an accent so thick you can barely understand him. imagine him being shy and self conscious because almost no one can understand him right away. imagine him sitting alone on the hogwarts express and not sure if he should be thankful or nervous that the boy with messy black hair he saw at the platform decided to sit with him. imagine a small-but-not-nearly-as-small remus lupin absolutely falling in love with his accent. imagine sirius learning to control it in second or third year, but when he’s tired or first wakes up it comes back in full force and no one can understand him again. imagine him softly singing au claire de la lune to remus when he wakes up screaming with nightmares. imagine him and fleur talking in french about their adorable werewolf husbands. imagine sirius’s last words being a whispered “je suis désolé mon amour” when he made eye contact with remus as he fell through the veil.

GOD this just has so many opportunities.
