i saw someone on here a while ago tell someone talking about being assaulted as a child that they “shouldn’t say the word rape because it’s a slur”??? Rape is a real thing that unfortunately happens to so many people each day and it is horrible and real and i hate it but you are not “protecting” anybody by saying you can’t even speak of its existence. you are not helping a victim by telling them they can’t speak about it because speaking up is so taboo in your eyes you think nobody should ever know. ​it is a hard subject it is uncomfortable knowing how all too common it is but it is not a slur and you should not silence victims because it’s a hard subject

it’s very weird feeling only now starting to feel like a person at this point in my life . i am so happy i see the beauty in the world and love living but it’s so strange to sit down and be joyful when eating when for years and years i didn’t feel anything doing that because i felt i was already dead, if not barley alive and waiting to die. i’m getting used to it and i’m grateful i get to be here to get used to it but like i said It’s really weird feeling anything doing normal things everyone is already familiar with and truly experiencing it for the first time .

maybe a nothingburger obvious take but it seems nobody seems to actually care about victims of grooming and pedophilia online as much as they claim to . i used 2 spend a lot of time watching “art community” drama video essays last year and half of them just felt like “Hey! this 13 year old is doing bad things due to someone older hurting them!” and the older person will have a full online presence but everyone will dogpile on a victim instead of acknowledging they said or drew something odd and focusing on stopping a grown adult from harming more children. people only want to have something to hate and find it easier to rip apart a victim rather than root out the problem at its core. everyone is responsible for their own actions of course but it’s just strange to me to see people rather stay mad at a tween in a dangerous situation rather than ever critique what made them act this way . the art “community” especially on places like tiktok comes off as nothing more than a cesspool of immature people fighting more immature people because nobody there is near old enough or mature enough to handle serious problems let alone understand where the real issue lies
