Later, there would be time for the bloom of embarrassment over his own desperation, but for now all his mind could focus on was the pleasant curl of the aftermath against his limbs, how he had gotten a step closer to achieving something his mind refused to put away. Leon was no stranger to attraction, but the way he gravitated towards Chris was distinctively different. There was something to be said about a person who’d seen how horrific the world could be, tainted by the sins of those who wished for its downfall or to be at the helm, and still choose to walk a path that aimed to help, protect people. 

Leon may have just been starting out, but the more he worked with Chris, the more he learnt about him, the deeper everything bloomed in his chest — which wasn’t much, but from his side of things it was enough to form an opinion. An appreciation for who the captain was, a good man to have in the storm, soaked in a humanity that was rare to come by. Sure, the rookie didn’t know everything that there was to know about it, about everything that he had faced during a lifetime that drew its lines against the other's face, but what he did dig up, he admired. But, most importantly, his own feelings towards the leader weren’t ones that curated themselves in pure lust. 

Before all of this he would have thought of it as impossible to attain, the list of reasons why forever being added to. But now, with the promise of furtherance, doors seemed to open that Leon wanted nothing more than to explore. Fingers that clung to the other for dear life released, a hand coming to cup his face as their lips found each other again, this time far more coordinated than their prior meeting. Warmth fanned over his chest as he kissed him back, measured breaths leaving him as he ensured to match the set pace yet fill it with as much of what he felt for Chris as he could. A quiet hum left his lips as Chris spoke, giving a minute nod that wouldn’t break the space in understanding. “Okay, sounds like a plan.” he muttered, offering a few pecks in between each word.

The greedy part of him wanted to chase more sooner rather than later, but everything that already transpired between them had been on a steady crunch and he knew that they would have to shift their focus on getting out alive before anything else. For now, he could be content with just this alone. It hadn’t been much, and far from what he desired, but it told him that things hadn’t just been one sided. That the way he desired the captain layered itself in something mutual. He waited a few more beats before finally beginning to detach from the other man, the one stagnant elevator beginning its descent. “Just in the nick of time.” He uttered, eyes lingering over Chris for a moment before facing ahead. 

Leon has seen so much of the horrors that lurk within the world that I don’t think he ever truly feels safe; especially when there’s a threat that threatens to spill right under his skin. Though if I had pick.. he probably feels safest when he’s drowning it all out in the bottom of a bottle. Leon has always struggled with alcoholism; during his rookie days he was late to work because he had too much to drink when his girlfriend and him broke up — although there’s a slight variation that I’ll get to when I write his sheet out. But it’s a habit he hasn’t been able to break; being able to drown it all out for just a short period of time until he ultimately wakes up the next morning and is faced with everything again. But that can really be said for a lot of his coping mechanisms.

Themes of the blog include: grief, survivors guilt, betrayal, learning to live again, alcoholism, ptsd, using humour as a coping mechanism. There may be mentions of forms of self harm, all of which will be tagged appropriately. 

Verses

Current: Resident Evil 9. Here Leon is suffering through the rampaging effects of Raccoon City Syndrome. Depending on where it’s sat, Leon will either be in stage two (like we see at the beginning of the game), or in stage three of the infection. Subject to flexibility should it be plotted otherwise.

Rookie: A verse that focuses on Leon’s days as a rookie within the RPD. Whether it be the worst day of his life (canon), or it be an alternative universe. 

Vampirism: A mutation in RCS, and a newly unknown introduced strain of a new virus has rendered Leon a vampire. For this verse I will be mixing inspiration from the canon vampires of the RE universe, and general vampirism. For example, he can still go out in the sun and craves blood in order to sustain himself, however, he is some form of dead in a sense.

003. CONTENT AHEAD. Due to the themes present in Leon, this blog will contain dead dove do not eat content. If that isn’t something you’re interested in, please just block and/or don’t follow. I will not take any commentary on the things that I choose to write, nor do I want anyone to come at me with a purist attitude around the things that I choose to include. At the end of the day, this is a franchise where people are fighting for their lives and/or they have their own motivations that are driving them. Topics that need them will have a cw associated with them and any nsfw will be posted below a cut. I will block anyone who writes anything to do with the HP franchise without a second thought or anything to do with JK Rowling in general.

004. INTERACTATIONS. Under no circumstances will rushing me to reply be tolerated. As I said before I work full time, as well as the fact that this blog is a slow / low activity blog. I will get to things when I get the chance to or have the motivation for it. Should I feel as though I am being pestered about a thread, I will simply refuse to engage further, and if I feel it’s bad enough I will in fact block you. I’ve had it too many times where I warn people about the fact at times it can take me a while, and instead of being given respect over that fact, I have been basically harassed for a response. Most of my activity happens over on discord, and that is available for my mutuals. I love talking plots, characters etc. If we aren’t mutuals but you’re wanting to plot, you can shoot me a message and I’ll get to it when I can.

005. SHIPS. Whilst yes Leon is our bisexual king, when it comes to fxm ships I tend to be a bit more picky I guess is the word I’m looking for. MxM ships are a preference, but even that being said, I like there to be chemistry between the characters and the muns. I like talking to people, getting excited about our ships together, and getting to know the people I am writing with — not only just for romantic threads but in all aspects. I will do one off nsfw threads with characters because I like writing that, but don’t assume just because our characters are out here fucking it means that they are romantically involved. Unless plotted, stated either in character or out of character, they aren’t. Leon has his own set of issues that will absolutely be explored, a lot of it can (and often will) effect his personal relationships, and I don’t step away from those as I enjoy exploring dynamics that aren’t just all sunshine. 

006. GODMODDING. Please do not control, or assume the thoughts and actions of my muse. Of course there’s the exception of doing something to progress the theme forward, but anything that goes above is no bueno.

007. LENGTH, STYLISATION. There is never any pressure to match the length of which I write a response for! Sometimes I write a lot! As long as there’s enough for me to reply to (so no one liners), that’s all there is to it. I will personally be using graphics, coloured text, but I don’t expect you to. Simply write what makes you happy! This is a hobby and it ain’t ever that deep. 

008. WILL NOT WRITE. Under no circumstances will I write anything involving incest, omegaverse, deaging characters/anything to do with minors, child abuse, mpreg, aging up characters to make things legal. I won’t write with minors either so don’t even try it, this is a 21+ space and that’s how it’ll stay.  As for nsfw content, I do not write any bathroom shit. This will be updated as needed but that’s all I can think of at this time.
