The effect is not what I had in mind when I started, but I made this thinking what opalification of the skin might look like.

In this I used brush and ink for the lines and a combination of copic marker and scrap pages (magazines, old notebooks, etc) for the color. It’s really not easy to handle the scrap pages when they need to be cut so small. This piece took a long time but I might try something like it again soon.
