This kind of summaries one of the big problems I have with TCW. They wanted to show these horrible scenarios and have deep themes and I am not against that, but it almost felt afraid of touching them. TCW would introduce themes such as slavery, sexual assault, genocide and war crimes, but would never explore it beyond the surface level.
Like I am not saying they needed full blood, guts and gore (it's a kid's show) but it needed to be less afraid of it's dark themes and properly allow kids watching it to grapple with them because that's how they learn.
