If you are new to media relations, this is a good article to read to get off on the right foot.
Agreed!
Words to keep in mind when dealing with the slippery slope that is media relations.
Really excellent advice here.
Make yourself useful and reporters will realize that you care about more than a cheap score.
Really love the approach of this article. It's a game-changer!

A little dense to read, but there is definitely some good advice here!
Great info in this article!
This article asks various journalists what public relations practitioners can do to make their press releases better. Somewhat valuable information, but some of it is up to personal preference, so take it with a grain of salt.
Some good points here.
Ummmm...yeah. Somewhere along the way, I feel like *someone* should have realized that this wasn't a good idea. (But, evidently not.)

Some good advice here! I especially like the suggestions about first drafts and naps. :)
A classic!
This is great! Reminds me of the "social media explained with donuts" graphic (I'll post that one next).

A lot of valuable data here, though I'm not entirely sure this graphic is the best way to represent it....

An overuse of tools displays a lack of strategy.
Agree 100% (I'd say that I agree 110% but this *is* a class on measurement, after all, and we all know that's not statistically possible.)
As a marathoner myself (ok, half-marathoner), I love this metaphor!
