Saturday workshop recap~ It has taken ten years but this by far has been the best workshop yet! My oldest son was mentoring with the youth in Nigeria(our partners from the very start in 2007) and we had the fabulous Lady Alma grace us with her wisdom and beautiful voice. Welcome our new friend Shalon! A gifted poet and artist mastering other forms of artistic expression. She uses her art to advocate and challenge our world. Our young change makers are BOSS!

Our dear Veronica has been with us long enough to have moved from student to intern to mentor and I am so very proud of her work on and off stage her in Philadelphia!

Met Osaze, he is an activist and artist who has rocked with us for over 4 years. He was also apart of the film with Sundance! We are so grateful to have him share his brilliance and compassion. Be on the lookout for works from this change maker;)

So our Spring cycle ran right into the summer and summer is quickly slipping away! I wanted to take a moment and thank the beautiful artist, Devon, for being with us for 2 years. Growing in his artistry and advocacy. He is a content creator to look out for!

#PHLAFF2017 was a blast! We enjoyed providing the workshops, having one of our student's film showcased and participating in the youth lead panel discussion!

Thank you to the beautiful students who braved the storm today and began their stop motion projects - global climate change. So proud of the work they are doing! Taking care of Mother Earth! Happy Mother's Day!
