can’t get over how fucked the three city blocks of Baldur's Gate we explore is. vampire den, mummy lord, hag lair, no less than two cults, haunted mansion, a demon lord whoring it up, evil clowns. is the rest of the city normal. why do they have a Spirit Halloween district.

her whole entire life, shadowheart was resisting and she didn't even know. she fought to cling onto every single memory she had. her journal entries indicate there was a time when she was aware her memories were being taken from her and she dreaded it; they fucked her up to such a state that she doesn't even remember what was taken. she didn't even remember her little hiding place with the night orchids in the end, or how she found friendship even in the darkest pits of the cult. they tried to tear everything that she was away from her but there always was that tiny part of her that held on, even if it didn't know why. that's faith - not in shar, but in a little girl's dream that, one day, she'll be herself again
