Not all the bots are landlocked. Steeljaw can swim, so can Thunderhoof and Springload, but they all do it for different reasons.

Baby Beastformers actually have individual species names to call them by (like how you call a baby cat a kitten) instead of just sparklings and younglings.

Scorpicons: Scorplings.

Spidercons: Spiderlings.

Chompazoids: Chompies or Chompers.

Sharkticons: Pups/cubs.

Centipedeocons: Pedelings.

Wolfcons: Pups/cubs (very young pups may even be called kits though its uncommon).

Buffaloids: Calves.

Elkbots: Fawns.

Cancericons: Zoae.

Erethizobots: Porcupettes.

Anurabots: Tadpoles (taddies for short).

Foxcons: Kits, sometimes pups or cubs.

There's a difference between how Scorpicons of different ages or different physical states hunt.

Young or more energetic/healthy Scorpicons (like Paralon) will favour running down their prey into exhaustion. They have the energy and endurance to pursue prey even up trees and cliffs.

Older or sick/injured Scorpicons (like Scorponok) prefer ambush tactics. They lie in wait for their prey instead since it helps save energy for say, recovering or more important matters.

Steeljaw has the most energy when it's dark out. Wolfcons and Canicons in general alternate between diurnal, cathemeral, crepuscular and nocturnal cycles depending on the individual. Steeljaw is between crepuscular and nocturnal.

Slipstream and Jetstorm knead on their pillows when they're asleep. You know how cats knead on things when they're relaxed? Same.

They do it on whatever they sleep, even the 'bots's chests and laps although the main problem there is 1. They may look small but they're deceptively heavy and 2. That means when they're on your lap, they'll accidentally cut off your blood/oil/Energon flow.

One of the funniest things Ida (Denny's wife in this story) ever saw was Steeljaw trying to lick yoghurt out of a tub.

Here's the thing...the tub is the size of a thimble for his overall height. He can't fit his tongue in there AT ALL, but the big wolfy boy is still trying because hey, strawberry yoghurt is good, man.

Drift suffers from a Transformer equivalent of PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) that fucks with his appetite badly.

The result is that he has intense midnight cravings for sweet things because of the robo-insulin resistance and robo-hormones going berserk.

A lot of it is waved off as him not having had enough to eat in the past (which is true also) but there's also irregularities like he will suddenly not eat, suddenly overeat. There are days he can consume a strongly-flavoured Energon without gagging because the craving is THAT strong.

Windblade gets the zoomies when she ingests caffeine.

Its not deadly to her or anything, but it's definitely S O M E T H I N G to see, an 18-19ft jet femme just barrelling around and in and out of the scrapyard just because she had a sip of Monster or something.

Oh, and she doesn't discriminate on caffeine sources either. Coffee, teas, cola, chocolate, energy drinks like Monster...she would drink them all in one go if neither Drift nor Strongarm stopped her first (Sideswipe is the bad influence on that end lol).
