I love will cipher

Will was born to the g-d who founded the two-dimensional universe (including the realm Euclydia within it) Euclid, The Father of Mathematics, and two-dimensional woman on Euclydia known as Scalene. From this lineage it would bestow the title of a demig-d onto their child. Euclideans do not procreate out of necessity due to their inorganic nature, Euclid wanted to make sure that knowledge could be expanded upon without limitations like illness, hunger, sleep, things that organic being focus on for survival. It is safe to assume that Will is an only child and the youngest of his kind to say the least. His birth was extremely violent and nearly killed both him and his mother, but after his cries broke through she too would be promoted to a deity status alongside Euclid after to a successful conception with him.

Will was born with four fingers and one eye which was unlike anyone else, a mutation likely a consequence for simply existing. He would consistently complain about the “bright lights” above him in early childhood, and when Euclid and Scalene realized that this mutation might be the elusive “Cipher” gene, they prepared Will to prevent a prophecy he never bothered to sit and listen to. If he couldn’t control his fate, he didn’t think it mattered that he remember what it was, the inevitability of it all. Will was reared like a prized animal for show and sale, grooming and prodding him in the ways that they said would be necessary so that he would be a worthy recipient. The people of Euclydia might never get another chance to learn about his birthright, their constant hunger for knowledge was too important to ask Will what he would want to do with his life.

He didn’t get a chance to understand what it meant to have a choice or desire, as any kind of independent thinking for himself got him reconditioning lessons for thousands of years. He instead was able to think about his demise, it felt comforting to know all of this would end one day, whenever that was. It was similar to how someone else might think about their chores, something that has to be done even if you didn’t want to. He was otherwise content with playing his part because he didn’t know anything else, only taught the things that they needed him to know and to accept that this is how it has to be. People treated him well otherwise because his birth enacted an era of a monarchy for his family. He was well off, never having to lift a finger even to walk if he didn’t want to, people spoke for him, giving him an extremely laid back and pampered life in payment for his martyrdom.

What came next Will doesn’t remember, or doesn’t care to try to, and there are no other survivors to give an eyewitness account of what would be known as the extinction event of the entire two-dimensional universe, including his home world Euclydia. He didn’t know how to exist without the attention even if he hated the exaltation. {REDACTED} caused a single tear to roll down his eye, breaking the barrier of his flat structure and rupturing him to be more of a three-dimensional being. That tear he shed would not stop flowing for about two million years no matter how much he tried to wipe it away. It instead gravitated onto his body having no other place to go even through attempts to shake it off and move away. The water stained the surface of his body in an icy hot sensation, freezing his extremities and turning them black similar to frostbite and necrosis from the prolonged exposure to extreme cold. He was faced with having to come up with his own thoughts for the first time, no one to bark orders at him or correct his behavior down to the angles he was born with. It was terrifying for the first million years, he sat there waiting to be taken back and being killed by his father, or worse, being reconditioned.

All of what he went through now meant nothing, wasted time on him to fail them all. Will told himself that he did in fact “save them” even if they aren’t here to be convinced, he had saved them from…having to worry about him. He was the one who was now able to rewrite his life, no one could say he was lying because no one has any evidence to prove him otherwise. At least he was hoping there wasn’t any left.

What came next for him was meeting the Axolotl, being taken to Theraprism to be given intensive psychiatric help, and then meeting individuals that would become his Rebelrousers (Henchmanics) during the events of Apocadent (Weirdmageddon). Hydronica, Keyring, Theatrix, and his legion of Tooth Faeries to name a handful.
