Wingtip Derbyss

This blog is about the Acuto Leather Business shoes and unfortunately, I could not find a picture of the shoe that has good quality so instead this is a picture of a similar one. I would have taken a picture of mine but they are a bit worn out so it would not be that nice. The shoe is a wingtip derby type and is color black with a sole of brown wood-looking color. The brand is an Australian however I am not familiar of this brand, I just saw this in Zalora when I was looking for dress shoes for a formal event. I bought this along with the watch that I have written about also in this blog. Based on all the products that this brand is selling the prices are at average meaning they are not cheap nor expensive knowing that it is a foreign brand. According to the details of the item, it is made of real leather which I can say is true since when I got the shoe it really was authentic leather. Originally, this was priced at Php3,999.00 but I was able to buy it at Php1,999.00 which was a good deal however, just recently, I saw that this shoe is on sale again and is now at only Php999.00 which is a very big discount. The shoe took 5 days to be delivered and good thing that it was only 5 days because two days after the delivery was the day of the event I bought the shoe for. The shoe looked as good as it was in the picture of Zalora. Overall, I would really recommend this product especially now that it is discounted at a very low price.

Jigsaw

This is a jigsaw and if you don’t know what a jigsaw is, basically a power tool used for cutting wood or other similar materials. This is by Hoyoma Japan which I am assuming is a cheap brand since it is not that known and the price of this cheap for the item. Usually, tools like this would cost around Php3,000.00 and up but this item was at Php1,850.00 only. I bought this because one of my hobbies are like making stuff that would require cutting wood and the like. The package came in good, it was secured with bubble wraps and plastics. This took only 3 days to be delivered which I am not really surprised of since Lazada rarely delivers late and another reason why it’s a good site. Everything that was listed to be inside the box were in there and there were no defects. My only issue with the product is that the stock blades are not that strong which is expected because usually stock blades of tools like this are not of good quality. Some of the blades bent right away after just a little use but mostly when they were functional, there were no problems with cuts. The item is a good one for a first because it is cheap and it works just fine however, I would not recommend this for professional use since I don’t think it’s durable enough.

Flintss yow

These are flint rods that I got from Lazada. They are basically normal flints but the ones that are used for survival tools since they’re shaped like rods. They are at around 5cm in length and ½ cm in diameter. I needed these for props for our dance in school. So basically, I made a sparkling stick that when you hit on the ground releases these cool sparks. They were priced at Php300.00 and it took around 5 days to be delivered. At first, I was thinking twice whether I should buy it because based on the reviews there were some conflicts when this guy ordered his. He said that the package that he received did not have 10 flints which what was listed on the site. When I got mine, it had 10 so it was fine and all the flints were functioning properly. There were no broken flints and I was able to use them the way I wanted. Overall, the review for this item is positive since I did not experience anything bad with it. This is a good one if you’re looking for a replacement for flint tools or if you want to do the sparkling stick thing.

Stuhrling’s Watch

This is the Stuhrling Original Ascot Men’s Designer Watch by Stuhrling Original. Stuhrling Original is a Swiss brand of watches and is actually a new one since it was just founded in 1999. To describe the watch, it is basically a formal type of watch. It has leather straps, Swiss quartz silver dial and steel analog. This type is usually used for formal attires such as suits, tuxedos and other similar ones. I bought the watch mainly because of a formal event. I thought it would look good with a suit and also, I liked the way it looked. It was like a sophisticated classic type of watch. Also, not only did it look good with formal attires but it went with casual ones well probably because the color of the strap was not hard to pair with. The price of the item was another reason why I bought it. According to Zalora, the original price was at around Php15,000.00 but then it was on sale and the price was at Php3,847 which a really huge discount and of course before buying it, I checked if it was an original item because I wouldn’t want to buy a fake one. I read the reviews and checked the seller of the item and fortunately it was a legit item. I bought the watch and it only took 2 days to be delivered which I was very happy about because usually it would take Zalora 5 days at the most. I was very satisfied with the service and of course the item. As I opened the item, it came in a carton box then inside the box was its original packaging. The packaging was very secure and it even came with a box to store the watch, some flyers and the warranty card which completely convinced me that the item was an authentic one. Overall, I would recommend this product and also the service of Zalora for this one.

Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Slip-on

This is the Mexico 66 slip-on edition. The brand Onitsuka has become famous nowadays however, it’s also known for being expensive. The average price of the shoe is at around Php5,000. I bought the pair at the online site Zalora. Originally, I was going to buy a pair of Aldo loafers but when I saw the Onitsuka I immediately changed my mind. The shoe was at Php2,900 which was very cheap for Onitsuka. Of course, I had to verify the seller because knowing the cheap price, somehow it made me doubt the product but eventually I found out that it was legit so I bought it instead of the Aldo loafers which was way more expensive. When it came to delivery, it was way better than the Under Armour shoe that I got from Zalora as well. The delivery took around 5 days from the day that I ordered it. I think one of the reasons why it was fast because it was already in stock unlike the Under Armour which probably came from overseas. The packaging was very secured meaning aside from the box of shoe itself, it had reinforcements such as plastic wrapping and bubble wraps. During the unboxing of the item, the box looked legit and it had the stuff that an original Onitsuka would have so basically the shoe was authentic. When it came to shoe, it was very comfortable and it looked really good. I also got the shoe because it was not that mainstream in terms of brand and also the type itself. I kind of anticipated how it would like also because my dad had one also but in a different colorway. Overall I would recommend buying this brand from Zalora because I didn’t really have any problem with them and also the shoe is very durable.

CINEMA SB250

In this blog I will be discussing abt the JBL CINEMA SB250. This is different from the ones that I have reviewed because unlike those, this is not portable and also this is mainly used for the TV. I got the item from LAZADA and it was ₱8,799.00. The price is cheap for the item because as I have researched before it was priced at around $300 which was approximately ₱15,000 or so. The reason for the very affordable price was because it was on-sale. The item was sold by LAZADA which automatically made me feel comfortable in buying it because it was a reliable seller and it was a labeled as an original product so I bought the item. It took around 4 days for it to be delivered and there was little technical problems with the tracking but it was did not really affect that much. As I got the item, I set it up right away and it was mainly composed two separate parts, first was the bluetooth soundbar and the wireless subwoofer. The main concept of the product was wireless connections however when it is connected to the television, it uses optical connection which was special type of connection and it was not that common. The speakers also had the option of bluetooth for devices that were capable of it. I experienced some issues with it such as the subwoofer was turning off on its own from time to time and it also was producing an unusual sound which was somehow similar to a popping sound. I complained about this and I even submitted a video of the issue. I returned the item to LAZADA which was actually very easy however, recently they contacted me and said that the item was working fine. As I am writing this, the item is actually on its way back to me since it was evaluated as it was functioning properly. In terms of recommendation, I would recommend this product but I think it would be better to buy this from stores not online so that it would be possible to test it because I also some reviews on it about the popping sound issue so I’m assuming that it was common. One of the lessons to learn about this is that there are risks in buying online sometimes unfortunate events happen lol.

COMMIT TR

This is the Under Armour Commit TR, the type of this shoe is called “Training Shoes”. It may sound vague but what it means actually is that it is mostly used in the gym or similar athletic activities. I got the pair from Zalora for Php 5,795.00 and type of payment that I chose was Cash on Delivery which is self-explanatory. The shoe comes in several colors but I got the blue one which is displayed above. The shoe is very comfortable and it also looks good. I would describe it as versatile because not only can you use it for indoor training but it is also a great everyday shoe. The shoe can also be used for jogging outdoors however, there are still better ones for the purpose. It is also light which contributes a lot to the comfort and the material is very durable. I have been using my pair for about 5 months now and in terms of wear and tear, this is a strong shoe. Most of the damages it has are only minor scratches and I use this a lot for jogging, working out or just for casual purposes. The item is authentic which zalora ensures however, there was a slight issue on the delivery. Compared to Lazada, the delivery was longer and somehow the tracking was not that reliable. Overall, I would recommend this product especially now because I have just checked and it is currently on sale with a price of Php 4,349.00 and also it also is a good pair.

iRig

iRig is an external accessory for instruments such as guitars, electric or bass. This serves as an adapter for the instrument to be able to connect to your smartphone. It allows you to use your phone like an amplifier. The item requires an application for it to function. AmpliTube and Garage Band are the apps that use the iRig. The adapter has two jacks which are for the instrument and headphones. The item requires headphones to hear the sound and another cord for the connection between the guitar and the iRig. I found the iRig in Lazada which was very surprising because it was hard to find here in the Philippines. The item was still imported from another country and it took about 2 weeks for it to be delivered. The payment for this was through online only which was understandable because it was being shipped from overseas. As I received the item, the packaging was not that nice. It was in a ziplock type of bag and inside are the iRig and instructions for it. This made me think that it may be fake but then I tested it and it was working fine. I have not tried the original iRig which did not give authority to judge if it was fake or not but if I were to give my own opinion, I would say it is because the price was cheap. I got the item for less than Php 400.00 and it was usually priced at something above Php 1,000.00. Overall, I would still recommend this even if I said that it may be fake and it did not have good presentation. The item still served its purpose and is still functioning up to now and I have been using it for 3 months.

TRIPPPP

This is the JBL Trip, another portable Bluetooth speaker by JBL. This speaker is quite different from the Xtreme which is an enormous and powerful speaker. The Trip is a small speaker compared to the Xtreme. This one can fit in a palm of an average person. This is specially made for cars which is one of the purpose of the removal metal clip. The metal clip is attached to speaker magnetically and is sturdy. It is usually placed on the sun visor on the driver’s side. The metal clip is powerful enough to support the weight of the speaker and it holds on tight to the visor. As I have said earlier, it is made for cars and mainly for the driver. Once it is connected to your smartphone, it allows you to answer calls through the button on the speaker with a phone symbol which is also used to either pause/play, access virtual assistance such as “Siri” through the button with a microphone symbol and adjust the volume through the + and – buttons. It also includes the off/on button and Bluetooth button but the others are different. The buttons on top can be pressed lightly which is convenient for a driver unlike the other buttons which are not usually accessed while in motion. The speaker is NOT only for cars, it can also be used as your own personal speaker. The size of it fits most bags and it is powerful enough for purposes like listening to music or other similar situations. Obviously, it is not as powerful as the Xtreme but still the loudness of this speaker is impressive for its size. I bought this in Lazada for Php 1,849.00. The item was on sale when I got it and the original price was Php 4,995.00. Overall, the price is very cheap for the item and the quality is good.

Chelsea Bootssss

This is the ASOS Chelsea Boots in Burgundy which is a type of leather boots made by the company ASOS. ASOS is an online company that sells clothes, shoes and the like. This company is based in the United Kingdom and their headquarters is at London. ASOS is mostly know to be expensive and sophisticated even if it mainly caters young adults however these Chelsea Boots were not. Chelsea Boots of good quality here in the Philippines would usually be priced from Php 4,000.00 to Php 6,000.00 but I was able to find one online for a cheaper price. When I saw the pair, I was surprised that it was that cheap because knowing the company and the type of shoes which was not usually priced like how it was. The price of the boots was at 25 GBP which was around Php 1,500.00 pesos when converted to the Philippine currency. I immediately decided to buy this because first of all it had a good price and I trust that ASOS products have great quality. I received the pair after 3 weeks which was very reasonable because it came from London, UK. The boots looked very nice and the color was very classy. Their sizing was pretty accurate which is an important factor for online stores. Overall, I would really recommend this item because as I have said the price is affordable and the quality of the shoes is great. I have been using the boots for more or less one month and it is still in very good condition well of course proper care should be done.

 I was just a bit disappointed with that specific transaction because for some reason I was not really able to track the item unlike the first time that I have made a transaction with ASOS. I could not confirm what caused that technical problem but I think they should improve more on that because it makes their customer doubt their service and worry about the item that they have purchased. 

This is the “Natural Bamboo iPhone SE Case” and obviously based on the name the material is real bamboo wood. I was able to find this case in the site, Lazada. The price of the case was at Php 900 but I was able to purchase it for half of its price because it was on sale that time. The delivery took longer than usual because it was being shipped from overseas which was also the reason why the standard cash-on-delivery procedure was not available for this item. The phone case arrived after a week or so but even if it took that long I was able to track my item because Lazada was consistently giving my updates about my order. This is also one of the reasons why Lazada is known to be a reliable and secured site. I received the phone case but the packaging was not that presentable because it was just in a plastic bubble-wrap bag and it had no box of some sort. The case itself did not have a brand name instead it was just called for what it was. These factors are some of the disadvantages that this item had. I bought this case for myself to use so I tested it on my phone and at first it was not disappointing. I used the case regularly and of course there are some events/accidents that occurred while I was using it like dropping the phone and other similar things. A phone case is usually there to protect your phone in case accidents like dropping it happen but in this case the bamboo case was not. The case was damaged from the drops and bumps, it had cracks and some chips. I expected that to happen because of what it was made of but still I would at least expect it to not be that brittle because I bought that case to protect my phone. Overall, I would not recommend this item unless you are very careful about your items.

P.S. The item was functional for a month or two for me.
