“I don’t have her this Easter,” Xavier lamented. “Aimee’s taking her to Paris or something to see her grandparents. But we need a playdate soon. Corinne could use the company of people that aren’t me when she’s here.” He gave a wry grin. “She’s actually talking a lot more than before so her and Nora could have conversations now, even if Corinne’ll still be a little bit behind her.” 

Nodding, he grinned. “Well it’s good you got time off to drop into a party,” he said. “I feel like you never get time to come out.”

"Oh, sorry to mishear that, man. Well, when she’s back and I’ve got Nora we can definitely get them together. Nora’s got a treehouse at mine. keeps it pretty easy just grill, have a beer, and relax because she could spend hours up there playing house or having a tea party. I’m sure she’d love someone to play with that isn’t me. She’s always telling me to be more gentle.” Drew nodded. “It’s mostly that I don’t feel like I belong at these types of things. When I’m not actively avoiding it then I don’t come out if I have Nora and the weeks I don’t I’m usually picking up extra hours at the fire station. All work and no play, I guess.”

Drew keeps the downstairs situation groomed but he’s just a naturally fuzzy guy. He’s clean though so don’t be all weird about it. He’s a grown ass man 😂 and yes, the carpets match the drapes.

Drew’s toys are mostly things that are not obviously sex toys just for the sake of not getting into trouble with Cara if Nora found something. Rope, very small vibrators or he might buy a partner items specifically for their interests and keep them somewhere Nora can’t reach.

If not, that’s okay too.” Toy was used to events like these. He’d coordinated plenty. Laughing at Drew’s comment, he shook his head. “Oh no, no more fish. My walks have been much less surprising than the one where I met you.” 

He couldn’t help but laugh, “Well, that’s good news at least. Though it looks like you’ve got some potential here for the makings of something far more surprising.” His gaze moved across the crowd, noting at least three people hyena-laughing. “Unless that’s some of these people’s natural demeanor. I have this pathetic threshold of three beers and I’m a chatty flirt, but anything more and you might as well throw a blanket over me because I’m going straight to bed. How about you?”
