Hello @just-in-it-for-the-ships ! Thank you so much for the interest in my well-being, that’s so thoughtful and kind of you! And sorry it took me so long to reply, I’m dealing with lots of personal things at the moment, and a lot of the time I don’t have the energy to answer messages. Thank you so much for your patience with me, I’ll be back on my feet soon! But yes, generally speaking, I’m doing ok and resting up :)

Page 2.32 (End of chapter 2)

A thousand apologies for the lateness again guys! It’s been really hectic for me recently, and I just couldn’t find the time to post. The thing is I like to think a bit about what I write here, and I don’t want it to be just whatever.

Despite all that, we made it to the end of chapter 2! How amazing! Now our favorite love bugs can have a well deserved rest, sleeping all snuggled up together.

But I’m afraid I won’t be back next week with the next chapter. You’ve seen for yourselves how much I’ve struggled in the last few weeks with posting consistently, and there’s also the fact that I’ve barely gotten started on the 3rd chapter with how busy I’ve been. I’m also predicting that this chapter will be longer than the last one, but so you don’t have to wait too long, I will bring it up to a certain point and start posting then. This year is going to be a bit harder for me, since it is very crucial for my future. But I still want to continue this comic. Not only because it’s a way to escape everything, but I also love it very much. This is the biggest project I’ve taken on yet, and I would be very happy and proud of myself if I manage to finish it. But you can’t do good work without taking breaks as well, so I will be going on a hiatus. I can’t tell you yet when I will be back, but I promise I will be one day.

You’re in for it know, though. Remember the bathtub page, where I asked for your opinion on the comic so far? Little did you know that was all part of my plan… Since you told me such nice things, now it’s my turn!

I can barely express through words how thankful I am to you all. Here I am, some random artist on the internet, making a comic about my two favorite characters from a weird anime, and then you lot come along, and not only read what I’m writing, but also like it! That’s so amazing you guys! You occasionally even go out of your way to tell me your thoughts on my work. You’re going out of your way to make a stranger on the internet’s day a little brighter. That’s a definite sign of a wonderful person. And yes, you really do make me just a little bit happier, day by day. The feeling of making something that I love, and sharing it with people who also receive it so well… is indescribable. Amazing. Brilliant. Awesome. I want to thank you all so much for… well, everything. It might not seem like much from your perspective, but it really means a lot to me. From what I’ve seen, you’ve all really great people. Spreading just a little more kindness in the world. I hope from the bottom of my heart that your futures are bright, and filled with more happiness than sadness. You’re all so good, and you deserve good things. And I hope that my comic can brighten up your day just as your kid words do. Again, thank you all so much. You lads are the best.

Sorry for the delay on this one everybody! I’ve just been very busy with term starting again. But I’m here now, better late than never and all that.

So what have we got today? Just a bunch of pre-bedtime silliness and cuteness:

Hendrickson warning Dreyfus that some of his clothes will go missing, Dreyfus attacking Hendrickson (in a nice way) and tickling him to death, and them snuggling up together. All the good things.

I love this page so much man, it’s so pointless and adorable, and I think captures their dynamic very well.

Only down side, I don’t know how to make hair look wet, so Dreyfus’ hair is a bit odd looking at times.

🎶Two guys sitting in a bathtub, lying against each other because they’re very gay🎶

I decided to make this scene a full page panel, because I feel like it really accentuates the calm and relaxed feeling I was going for.

We’re reaching the endgame here, so expect the story to be a bit slower and softer.

I’m very happy with the character’s expressions here, they really look at peace, and very much in love.

Also the only reason I put the branch decoration on the bath is because it looked very empty without it.

Ouch, looks like Hendrickson’s got a bit of pain leftover from the previous activity…but he knows that’s to be expected. Dreyfus, on the other hand, who is not as experienced, is worried that he really hurt his boyfriend, and is trying his hardest to look after him and make up for it. Which Hendrickson (begrudgingly) allows, since he knows better then to go up against the very stubborn man.

Bit of a slower page today, not a lot happening, just the boys resting after their very strenuous activity and exchanging a few sweet words.

And if you’re wondering, no, they will not be going again. They’re old, let the poor guys rest they deserve it.

They’re just cuddling together and it’s all super cute until you notice the bite marks all over them XD. What can I say they got excited.

I’m going to be frank, this isn’t one of my favorite pages, it only exists for the last panel, because it came into my head, I thought it was funny, and wanted to keep it at all costs.

Yes, dear readers, I did do what you think I just did. I did illustrate two men reaching completion with a questionable amount of detail. And made the panels all pointy just to really get it across. Could be worse though, could be a lot worse…

Also for some reason the top section of the page got really crowded looking, which I don’t think is really a bad thing actually, it kind of works with the whole scene.

So yeah they came.

And they are mighty exhausted from that whole ordeal.

But they are very happy, Hendy especially.

I’m not sure why, but I’ve made it so that Dreyfus doesn’t swear. He doesn’t mind other people swearing, but he has his limits, and Hendrickson just passed his limits and then some.

ITS HAPPENING!!!

This is it, the moment you’ve all been waiting for, we finally made it! They’re doing the dirty! Yay! I have no idea how this page made it intact! I may just be the luckiest git ever.

You get to see how Hendrickson goes from shy baby to… shouting screaming mess.

And a great view of Dreyfus’ butt. It’s a win all around.

Instead of the wonderful little exclamations, I was originally going to put some lovey dovey thoughts around them in bubbles, and like a big one on the problem area where they’re both thinking the same thing, “oh I love you so much” or something similar. But then I thought, that would not happen. They can’t form complete thoughts right now. Just let them have fun. Actions speak louder than words after all ;)

What’s up lads the Drendrickson Slash is back, and today’s an extra special page, hopefully worth the wait.

Boy things are getting intense huh. What a way to announce my reappearance.

It includes good stuff such as face grabbing, pleas, a friendly reminder that Dreyfus is a dork and the moment you’ve all been waiting for. If I manage to pull this off I will officially be the luckiest lil bean in the world. Apart from Hendrickson.

They exist in a Middle Ages-like time period, where the hell are they supposed to find a lubricant…er… Hendrickson’s a desperate aspiring alchemist bottom, so he made himself one out of who knows what…there that should do.

Also Dreyfus realizing “ah, yes, he does not lubricate himself, true that”.

And now, let us enjoy Hendrickson melting from Dreyfus’ “special” touches, and Dreyfus enjoying it a bit too much and teasing the poor sod.

Two bare dummies in love anyone? No more difficult clothes for me to draw yayy.

It’s Dreyfus’ turn for some good stuff. Having known about his sexuality much longer, Hendrickson knows exactly what to do to get what he wants.

And it seems as though whatever Dreyfus was hiding warrants a whistle of approval. As I’ve said, I’m not planning of showing anything, so you may fill in the blanks as you please.

Thick thighs are useful for hiding things. Thanks Dreyfus.👍

Dreyfus was not impressed at all with Hendrickson’s pun. So in return, he decides to play hard to get. Hendrickson is not having that, so he decides to, well, rearrange the words of the phrase “hard to get” Dreyfus. I think they’re both having fun.

Dreyfus is a cheeky bugger who takes advantage of how sensitive his mans is. But Hendrickson’s going to put him in his place soon enough.

Also I am not going to let y’all sleep on my dumbass pun. Come on. Dreyfus’ “Silken Skewer”. That’s brilliant. Turning a perfectly good name of an attack into something a bit more sinister. You’ll never think of it the same way again.

Oh dear. This is what I was worried about. Unfortunately, for the sake of continuing to bring you my comic on here, I’ve had to alter the pages a bit, otherwise the post will be taken down. The original pages are still intact, I didn’t just erase big portions of them, this is done digitally. If you want to see the original image, dm me.

On a lighter note, I’m back lads! My schedule has finally eased up a bit, and I can emotionally handle posting every week again! Sorry for the wait, I hope what I’ve brought (what’s left of it) was worth it.

… so what do we have today? An answer to a question you didn’t even know you had, and Hendy having a great time and his own, slightly less grand, internal monologue. Dreyfus may be a bit rusty, but he sure as heck knows what he’s doing.

All the speech bubbles on the second half are Dreyfus’ internal monologue in case it’s not clear, he’s not saying all that out loud. Turns out Dreyfus is just as smitten as Hendrickson, and getting more so by the second! And he is super cheesy about it. And yes I do believe that he’s so bad at observing stuff that he hadn’t realized he also likes men for 47 years, let alone that his best friend is gay and in love with him. It took Fraudrin getting in to his head and being all like “wow you are a massive idiot” for him to get it. He also taught Dreyfus a thing or two it seems…

Oh and there’s nothing going on in the last panel. Nothing at all. No sir-e. Not a guy nuzzling another guy’s thing. Nah nah nah. That’s just two guys being bros.
