This might just be me reading too much into it, but i find this fandom has a preference for certain art styles. I mean this with no hate in my heart, you're all very talented, but it's very very exhausting to work for hours on an illustration just for it to be buried under others' work. I've just noticed that a lot of the time, those works are more cartoonish or simple.

Sick of fans who clearly don't enjoy the source material perpetually posting hyper indulgent mischaracterizations of characters. If you can't handle serious plotlines don't engage with serious material and make your discomfort other people's problems. I'm not going to go into examples because I don't want to bring negativity to others blogs but it's fucking pervasive.

are we at the point where we can say we like C!Dream again bc. people constantly are talking about C!Wilbur and disconnecting him from the CC and I'm all for it, as someone who loves both characters. but I've been seeing a lot of double standards as well of, people are fine with C!Wilbur being disconnected from CC, but not Dream. and people tend to even assume, if someone likes C!Wilbur they don't condone CC's actions, but the opposite with C!Dream. it's like. hey. I still like C!Dream. I don't think CC!Dream should've done the shit he did, I was a Dream fan and now refuse to engage with his content and such. but I'm still terrified to put this shit on my blog bc people are assuming C!Dream fans are apologists for both the character and CC. bc I also think C!Dream sucks! I still love his character! like a LOT of C!Wilbur fans! and yet I've seen C!Dream fans treated the exact opposite as C!Wilbur fans.

I think after Quackity lost his second life, he should have a cane, because that idiot was pushed off a fucking tall building. He should be left with a reminder of death. It shouldn't be something too restrictive, but something that should remind him every day of what happened that.

I think that C! Wilbur was at fault for A LOT of fucking shit but when it comes to Dream or Tommy there's a lot more to put on them. For example, yes, c!Wilbur had his moments in L'manberg when he for example said Tommy's home was apart of L'manberg, or just overall treating him pretty shity. But a lot of people overlook the fact that they were in idk literal fucking lore and Wilbur was stressed? And that Tommy was one of the few fucking people who wasn't listening too him. Yes, he was a child, 16. And that is a perfectly reasonable excuse and I'm not saying Tommy should have been acting like a grown adult because he didn't have to be, he got to be a kid and that was okay. However Wilbur was 100% not at fault when Tommy told Dream to duel with him. Tommy also burned Tubbos house down, the fuck? Dream was also really pushy with Tommy, I'll admit. And egged Tommy's behavior on, but who hasn't??moving onto pogtopia. Wilburs spiral is really something that needs to be study, because the way everyone treated him amazes me. For starters Techno definitely took advantage of Wilburs declining mental health to help his plan in destroying Manburg, Wilbur literally lost something he worked hard for and was betrayed by Quackity AND Tubbo. Wilbur was absolutely not a good person during pogtopia but the way he was treated did not fucking help durning that time. Tommy would constantly hit him, poke fun at him ect. Wilbur had every right to blow up L'manberg it was doing the exact opposite of it's intended purpose. It was tearing people apart instead of bringing them together. Wilbur treated others like crap but we never talk about how he was fucking treated because how did not a damn person cared enough to get Wilbur some damn help. Because they cared more about the damn Nation. Niki knew what Wilbur was going to do. Quackity was one of the people who tried to help Wilbur. Techno took advantage of it. Tommy made it worse without realizing it. Then after Wilbur blew it up he was at the bottom, he was done. He looked at his friends and all he could think is that they wanted him dead and that they didn't want to help him get better, so he looked at Phil, his father, his last hope, and asked him to kill him. All he wanted was just for someone to notice he was hurting to hold him and to tell him it was okay. But then his father killed him. Moving on again, Dream was not excused at all for how he treated Tommy in exile, that was fucked. But Tommy did deserve some sort of punishment but that was definitely too much. The disk war, I think it's absolutely fucked that Tommy HESTAIED when it came between Tubbo or the disks. His best friend or disks. He was going to let Tubbo sacrifice himself for those disks and if Punz didn't show up then Tubbo would be dead. It's like everyone forgets Tubbo was a fucking kid too. He was also manipulated by Dream, so was so many other people. But people refuse to talk about that and only talk about there precious Tommy.

I think that C!Wilbur is one of the most mistreated characters. All because he was hurting and because he was an asshole taking it out on those around him. Oh but if it were C!Tommy acting that way it would be a different story, the fandom mistreated and mischaracterized him so badly its upsetting. He wasn't even manipulative he was just an asshole. Get a grip.

I really really wish that yall didn't for some reason act like minx was on the smp??? Like I never liked her but like she never even had a cameo on there but sometimes I saw more people treat her like a real character then Connor and skeppy??

I really dont like the way cBeeduo is written now and I kind of miss the fandom’s “platonic marriage” era. (NOT saying I think harassment of shippers is a good thing or that it’s somehow a violation of boundaries to write/draw them as romantic when they’re literally married in canon and kiss each other often. I’m JUST saying I liked the fanfic from that era.) I know the way people write them is largely a reaction to the initial pushback against the idea that they could be romantic at all, and now that the fandom has cooled down people want the opportunity to write/draw things they would’ve been crucified for in 2021. But still, as an ace and arospec person, the sort of weird ambiguity of their relationship was really interesting and fun to me, and I get sad seeing their romance turned into a generic love story.

People will freak out whenever you say something suggestive or sexual about a cdsmp character but then go like art of ccranboo with their ass and dickprint out?? idk man. It weirds me out.

Very very tired of how people seem to woob-ify these characters all the time. Just because they are a victim of something does not mean they need to be soft and babied and feminine. You do not need to make them all twinkish, shiny-eyed and conventionally attractive. See them as something more than a perfect little blorbo. They have most likely killed people.

People who say “everybody only wants to watch their favorite white boys 😒” confuse me so much because most of the time when they’re saying that, the cc they’re defending is….a white women. What’s up with that? What was the point of mentioning that they are white if you are criticizing the fandom for being sexist specifically?
