"I'm sorry Professor I-"

"Leave that for later."

Before you had the chance to blurt out an excuse, he cut you off, waving a ruler to indicate you to get inside. Quickly scanning your eyes through the crowd, you searched for your friend Peter. Ten minutes to go.

You counted seconds as you waited for the class to end. No, you didn't hate this particular class-given the view right in front of you-but today, you just didn't seem to be in the mood to study. "Mind sharing what is so urgent to be discussed?" You found Professor Loki turned around, looking between the two of you with narrowed eyes.

"Sorry Professor!" Being the teacher's pet he is, Peter quickly blurted out an apology, while you rolled your eyes.

As soon as his back turned towards the board, an idea formed into your head. Tearing a piece of paper on your notebook, you scribbled- 'Bet he has a dick as big as his attitude.' Tapping your finger on Peter's shoulder, you passed him the note. Within a second came back a reply 'Y/N?! He's your teacher!!!'Grinning to yourself, you took your time writing the next one- 'And? You loved seeing Peter get flustered over such topics. Passing him the note, you waited as he quickly scribbled and gave you the note back - 'He's way older than you.' There's something I need to know." Peter quickly pushed the notes into his textbook, throwing it into his backpack. "No. Bring the textbook along. With the pieces of paper."

"I apologise, Professor." Peter practically ran towards him while you stood nervous of the fact that he might read the notes.

"Give me the notes and leave, Parker." Professor Loki hummed, making you gasp audibly.

"But he was sharing the-"

"I don't care what he was doing. I need you, Y/N." He cut you off, taking the notes from Peter as he left with an apologetic look followed by a shrug in your direction. "Close the door on your way out, Parker."

"Professor I-"

"Hush." He cut you off again. "Just take a seat."

You knew you were pretty much fucked now. Seeing no way out, you took a seat in front of his desk, throwing your bag on the next one noisily, diverting his attention from the notes that yet had to be opened.

"I'm sorry." You mumbled, staring at your shoes.

"Pardon?" Your heart thudded as he opened the note, only looking away to hear your apology. "Couldn't hear you there."

"I said," You gritted your teeth. "I am sorry."

"I see." He hummed with a nod. "Well, I'll be reading these anyways."

"You don't have to!"

You stood up abruptly, ready to take away your obscene thoughts but he beat you to it. Placing a long, slender finger over your shoulder, he pushed you back on the chair as you sat down with a flop.

"I know I don't have to, sweetness." He cleared his throat. "But I will."

What could you even do? You winced as his eyes wandered through the scribbles, how his expressions changed with every turning piece of paper. Cheeks heating up, you focused your gaze at the floor as he completed reading the last note. You heard the sound of paper tearing followed by the thumping of footsteps as he went to throw the discarded paper pieces into the dustbin. Within a few seconds, you found a pair of shoes in front of you as he stood close.

"Look up." He ordered. How did he expect you to look up at him after he had read all those inappropriate thoughts? You focused on your shoes, rubbing your now sweaty hands over your skirt. "I told you to look up, Y/N. Do not make me repeat myself."

Cringing inwardly, you forced your chin up, staring at the ocean blue eyes, which weren't so blue at the moment but a shade almost pitch black, looking down at you with the same authority and something else...something more personal, but you couldn't explain what. Maybe you could, but you preferred to remain in denial. He was your teacher, after all.

"I don't even know if I want to hear an excuse from your side." Sighing heavily, he ran a hand through his hair, then resting his hands over his hips while shifting his weight from one foot to another. "You come late to class for a week straight, your grades are doing you no good either. And then this?"

"Professor I'm-"

"Shut it." He cut you off. "Do you have any idea how wrong it is? You not only share notes during class but write out such inappropriate thoughts about your own teacher?"

"I understand, Professor." You looked back down, flattening invisible creases from your skirt.

"No, you don't." The tone he used made you look up. "If you understood, you wouldn't be writing this. Do you realise that those notes could get both of us in so much trouble?"

You noticed his shoes as he took a step forward. But there was something in his raspy voice that was different. He didn't sound like he meant it. It was as if he was scolding you for the mere reason of getting you embarrassed. The idea itself made you blush harder.

"I told you to look up, darling." He ordered sternly, your head turning up at the command. "Look at you, you're practically red, your face so flushed. How does it feel, Y/N?" "I-erm..." What was left to say? You simply sat speechless with your head forced upwards, eyes trying not to meet his.
