I got like three myth AUs in process (without counting Heathers AU) but Idk which one to talk about first.. like, I know I'll talk about all of them but I want to go one by one yk?

Latam AU
In short, it's an AU set in Latin America that deals with heavy themes from this part of the world. It would also be mostly in English but with some slang from each character's country.
Animal Mutation AU
Based on Nort and Fly's post where they discuss the representative animals of each species. The toons develop a mutation that gives them animal characteristics; there's no disease involved, but the mutation can be fatal for some.
Pastry shop AU
Just a silly au where where everyone works in a pastry shop baking personalized cakes! This is a little more soft than the rest, free of traumas and that things.. maybe.

Nort. I just need to take a second and genuinely thank you for the story you and Fly are making. But more specific I need t thank you for Cuphead and the way he's written as a suicidal character..
Ive seen so much media with suicidal characters, and yet none of it has really portrayed it "accurately" (or atleast accurate from my experiences)
And Cuphead is a perfect mirror of how it is for me..
It's the fact that he is all to aware of his mortality and yet he puts himself in danger.
His brother is his last string. Cuphead wouldn't take his own life, but he won't fight it if he is killed.
And yet when he finally dose die, the one thing that brings him back is his brother.
And that's how it is for what I've known of it in my life, I've personally struggled with that sorta thing, and it's been to the point of my sister being the one person keeping me here. And I've known countless friends who are in the same situation with that one person being their reason to live..
So I thank you for that, Nort, and Fly.. and I'm curious. How did you write him so well?

Now its no secret that I project a lot onto the characters, and cuphead has a lot of my mental struggles, adhd, educational issues, adrenaline seeking, addictive
but that specific ideation comes straight from my own experience.
I wont sit here and dump all of the terrible thing's i've faced to you guys, but regardless of my trauma, it doesn't really matter. Whether I went through the worst things imaginable or if i simply dropped my ice cream cone, these thoughts can come for anyone and from anywhere.
What matters is the thought process, and understanding that mental struggle of suicidal ideation. Its not easy to explain where my brain goes in words, so I draw it.
I didn't take over Cuphead's dream as Fly's style of art was more suited to it, but I wrote it. I wrote and choreographed and poured my guts out onto a silly cartoon character to try and show how confusing and terrifying but also numbing it is to have these thoughts.
Its abstract but linear, its crazy but quiet. Its contradictory and still makes sense to us. Its difficult.
From what i've seen of other characters who struggle with this in media, it all stems from a bad moment in their lives that have them spiral downwards. While thats entirely possible for others, I wanted to show a more nuanced take on it. something passive but visceral. A slow buildup that took years and years of the same thought process til it felt like 2nd nature to feel so passive about death. It doesn't matter to cuphead anymore. The only thing that matters is his brother, its the one thing he holds onto.
Now in some screwed up way, he's got anither anchor, the map, bendy and boris. Its terrible but it's SOMETHING.
i really want to talk about it but im also conflicted as its personal and i'm scared of revealing much of myself on here haha
These topics are never easy to discuss, but I know what it's like. I don't think that part of me will ever go away, but i have help. I survived. I will keep going. I have support systems, a therapist, medication, loving friends and family, and a future I look forward to. Even if its hard I will make that future real for myself.
Its not easy, and I don't expect it to be, but I wanted to write this for the character. And I hope we can be as deep with the others as well.
And i also hope that anyone who relates knows that they aren't alone. I see you, and many others do too even if it doesn't feel like it. You will figure out whatever is happening right now, you've done it before and you'll do it again. It'll be okay. You got this. You always have someone in your corner who's rooting for you!

I really love the writing that motm have, how the characters acts and thing, how they are and was, idk feels really personal even the characters that I don't reaaally project on them, I feel really close to them and it's nice see another "life" being go through similar things, and is just funny remember that they're cartoons AND EVEN KNOWING THAT they're so human, even more than us
I really kin Bendy, I love his whimsy and jolly charisma AND REALLY LOVE HOW AGGRGGRGRGR AGONIZING HE CAN BE AND HIS MORALITY but I really reflect so SO much in Cuphead sometimes, I really don't understand him altogether but even with that I see part of me in him, the silly way he acts and the chaotic face he have because of the adrenaline rush, I see him like the type of person that is really expressive but u need to talk with to REALLY understand him, like his face and feeling aren't totally connected some times (or idk maybe it's just me going crazy)
But I'm just yapping now and I lost the topic hehe oops! I really admire this comic and Nort (you) and Fly, u really MADE ME CRY SO MANY TIMES but that's the cherry on top of reading myth for me, I really love getting sentimental as fuck (u killed me with the cupbro's dream, both, the hard and happy part) idk if u would read this but I hope u know I really admire you and love all your works (Reddact[edd] too!)

Bendy deals with…a lot at his job but he tries his best to keep a cool head about it! The last one is based on a true story of an angry customer calling about squish mallows and being particularly passionate about it XDD
Cherry is a renowned artist with his own art gallery. He's often invited to parties, though he doesn't attend often due to his shyness about interacting with others.
Just then, he was struck by artist's block and ended up going to one of those parties where a porcelain waiter caught his eye. His inspiration returned, albeit momentarily. The beginning of his artistic obsession came after seeing the mup in action, weapon in hand. He was afraid of conflict, but there was a certain brilliance in the brothers that captivated him; he needed to represent them on canvas.
Upon returning to the gallery, he quickly got to work, but at the worst possible moment, he forgot the faces of both criminals. He lost the essence of those who had inspired him; seeing them on posters wasn't enough. He needed to see them again. Over time, he managed to capture the chaotic energy of the reddish cup, but the one who had initially captivated him remained an enigma. Something was missing. He couldn't bring him to life on any kind of canvas—painting, drawing, sculpture—everything was useless and frustrating. From then on he has a total obsession with that criminal, he studies him day and night trying to achieve a perfect work but only manages to go crazy and fall more in love with his precious muse.
