For a moment, I was slipping back into doubting my direction and everything that I’ve done up to this point in my career.

I have to trust myself more often. I am right about a lot of things. Patience is the missing component.

And my patience is paying off.

Thing are about to get very interesting.

Granted, I haven’t “made” it... You never truly make it, you keep going.

Nonetheless, it feels really good feeling like you’ve figured shit out or at least that you’re in a position where even if something does come your way, you feel confident that you’d be able to handle it.

Crazy, I can literally go back in time on this blog and find times where I was in a completely different position.

Different times.

Different mindsets.

Different people.

Different experiences.

All leading up to this.

I’m happy. I can genuinely say that I am happy.

I am working for a dream company getting paid pretty good money doing stuff I really enjoy doing. Guess college paid off.

I am still dating one of the greatest people I’ve ever met in my entire life and, as time has gone on, have had the biggest honor of all: being able to share my life and his life together. Guess it really does last.

I am the most comfortable with where I am. Who I’ve become. Who I am becoming. And who I want to be more than ever.

Sure, there’s always room for more.

But, then again, in 20 years I’m sure I’m going to look back and shake my head at all of the stupid things I do and believe in now. Even though I always consider myself growing and learning, I think you hit a point where you become blinded to your own weaknesses out of familiarity.
