Hi! ⤠Would you mind doing Alpha!Harry falling head over heals for Omega!Draco but then Draco demands a proper courting first (being a pureblood and all)? â¤
It was by accident when Harry first spotted Draco Malfoy.
The Dursleys had left him alone to go do god-knows-what but whatever it was, they didnât need a freak like Harry there embarrassing them. So Harry did what he usually did, he wandered around the neighbourhood sometimes looking over people's fences curiously.
This time heâd heard the most melodic sound of laughter heâd ever heard right over the fence of one of the biggest houses in the neighbourhood.
Curious as usual, Harry decided to take a look. Peeking through a wide enough crack, he saw an angel.
They were flying and everything...before falling right down onto the trampoline they were hopping on but Harry swore he saw wings.
Imagine skin as pale as porcelain, big silver eyes that glittered with the sun and the softest of hair that was the same shade of platinum. All this made the angel that was bouncing up and down and letting out the sweetest of giggles, âOh Daddy see how I high I can jump, are you even looking?â Their whines and pouting were cute, nothing like Dudleys own annoying whining.
After living with hideous people such as the Dursleyâs, itâs hard for young Harry to even imagine that beautiful people such as this person existed. Harry didnât even register the deep voice that replied back, too focused on the angel in front of him
They had a beautiful house, what looked like beautiful parents and natural beauty too. Harry wanted to be a part of that life. He needed to have this beauty in his life. And for some reason, Harry felt that if he was to simply stood next to the beauty heâd have his wish.
He knew it wouldnât be easy. His awkward secondary school years âkindlyâ put that into perspective for him.
âCan you not drool on my homework if youâre gonna copy it?â
Harry jumped at the voice before quickly giving Hermione a sheepish smile as he wiped his mouth. The female alpha rolled her eyes before turning to converse with Ron.
Harry tried to focus on his work but then there was that laugh again.
Deciding whatâs one more look, across the field was Draco Malfoy, even more beautiful as he grew older. What once was cute and innocent was now seductive and stunning.
He laughed among with his best friend Pansy and the rest of his popular crew of Omegas while Harry watched, helplessly in love.
Harry still remembered when he used to believe Draco was an angel. Those days were over, Draco wasnât an Angel, he was a queen.
An untouchable ice queen that Harry wished to pledge his knighthood too.
âIâm gonna confess.â Harry announced randomly.
The terrified look on his two friends faces did nothing to stop his sudden boost of adrenaline.
He was halfway across the field in less than a second and took an even shorter amount of time to reach Draco. Whatever conversation that had been going on immediately stopped when Harry arrived and the air could not be anything less than awkward.
Coughing to steady himself, Harry began, âUmm, Draco I umm...I was wondering if you wanted too Umm...to lik-â
âHold it right there Potter,â Draco interrupted him with a smirk, âcall me psychic but are you trying to ask me out?â
âI think he was.âParkinson answered snarkily for Harry.
The situation quickly turned to Harryâs worst nightmare as everyone was looking at him.
Harryâs paranoid mind had already began to spin tales, âWhy wouldnât they be lookin?! Weâre no knight, weâre just a poor peasant asking a queen out! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! He wonât date us even if we were the last alpha alive-heck last human! Cue the laughing please.â
But it never came, instead Harry felt a soft pair of lips press onto his. Opening his eyes wide, right as they separated, Draco Malfoy giggled that same laugh that Harry fell for in the first place.
âIâd love to Potter, but I canât date anyone till Iâm 18, and even then thereâs all these silly rules that must be followed. Sorry Potter but maybe in 3 years?â
Which brings them to now.
Harry twirled the champagne in his glass listlessly. All he wants to do is take off his stuffy suit, leave this stuffy ballroom full of stuffier people and simply hold the Omega of his dreams. Sadly, to gain the last wish, he couldn't have the first two.
All worth it for the belle of the ball a.k.a Draco Malfoy who is now at the age to be courted by anyone who considered themselves worthy enough.
This realization is not a good thing for Harry, whoâs saved this date since 5th year. Too lost in his own memories, Harry didnât hear the music change to announce the arrival of the âbelle of the ballâ. Only when he heard that laugh was when he snapped out of it.
Turning his head so fast, he ended up spilling his drink. Harry felt his jaw dislocate once he caught sight of the owner.
Standing on the highest step was no angel nor queen...but an ethereal being of beauty.
Led by who Harry knew as Draco's father, the now young adult was all smiles and waves to the guest that gawked at his beauty. But Harry has done enough gawking for a lifetime. Pushing past the crowd he made sure he was the first to greet the Omega.
Lucius studied him skeptically as he bowed and extended an arm towards his son but Harry paid him no mind. In the end it was Draco's blessing he craved.
His blessing that permitted a lowly mortal like Harry to stand near a deity such as himself.
And once he felt a slender hand take his, Harry looked up relieved.
The world looked more beautiful already.
