If you can't see the difference between Dramione fanfictions, or books inspired by Dramione, and a literal romance between a Jewish person and a Nazi, you have a fucking problem!

Oh, and like clever people say about Draco:

The literal point of Draco Malfoy as a character is to prove that oppressive regimes/systems of power harm everyone, including those within it. It is absolutely not okay to write a Nazi romance at the expense of people’s lived experiences, which is why it’s a good thing to write about it in a fantasy landscape where the nuances of power can be examined.

i feel like people seem to fully forgot the fact that throughout the course of the entire series, draco was a minor. the oldest he was was 18 years old. of course he is a coward because he wasn't taught to be brave, strong and virtuous. (like harry who was his direct parallel). was he racist? absolutely he was but he was groomed and raised into this environment and for all his life basically that was the only thing he was allowed to be because if he treated muggleborns good he would be a traitor and a disgrace in his father's eyes and we have seen time and time again how scared of his father draco was. i hate how people are either watering down his actions to absolute nothing or either totally ignoring the depth of everything he has went through. draco undoubtedly is an abused child raised in an abusive environment where the only thing he was allowed to be is a death eater. draco was scared of turning against his father not only because he feared his father's disappoinment but also because he saw it as a losing battle. no one on harry's side cared one bit about draco or would have trusted him if he had switched sides and helped them. he would have been treated like shit and when it came to it, they wouldn't really help him, care for him or defend him. he also saw that Voldemort was winning. why would he go to a side that didn't care for or about him that was also going to lose the war? he was also helping them during the last movie (some what) and you can clearly tell he was hesitant to go to Voldemort when he called for him and was looking around waiting for someone to stop him and tell him to stay but again, no one did because they didn't care about draco that much.
