I did my best to find the right ratio of 'cool unique prom attire' to 'character accurate fashion choices' and I think ultimately I ended up somewhere in the middle

Only one I went in with intent for was Ruth's outfit; in my hcs Richie's mom is a seamstress and she knows Ruth love Dirty Dancing, so this is her version of that just as a jumpsuit!! It takes most of the night for Ruth to get out of a bad mood bc she got this haircut and her braces out like two days before. In her head that's 'not enough time for people to get horny over her glow up' but as evidenced she's very in-demand. Sorry but I have to give Ruth my best friend Ruth a W whenever and however I can.
