Remember the anachronistic 20th Century Colts? If you remember Bananas Wit, of course you do!

If you look closely at the follower picture here, you'll notice several ponies that're not OCs from other blogs. These ponies are some of the retro residents of Baltimare that are each a quintessential essence of the decade they embody. They are Dink E. Gink (1900s), Ducks-Oop (1910s), Copathetic (1920s), Pearl Friday (1930s), Kicky Ricci (1940s), Bobby Rox (1950s), Groovy Loovy (1960s), Earth Tonette (1970s), Brashdancer (1980s), and Sunflower Tweed (1990s). Even though they belong to the past, you'll learn more about them in the future, starting with Dink E. Gink come Ask Berry Isthmus' 100th-follower milestone.

By the way, the designs of these characters are subject to change, so expect their colors, as well as their clothing and hairstyles, to be modified before their individual debuts. Why does it sound like I'm promoting a new toy line?

Loveletter blushes, looking away as if he was shy to share his interest. "Yes...I do enjoy such a hobby...Im just embarrassed..."

He then shares with her about the fanfiction he made of his best friend with a pony that impacted her life entirely. (ITS A CANON SHIP!) And shown her the letters and other work he has made. The grammar in the stories were rather advanced language as if he was born to write such stories.

I get to be a judge, a decent position in society since most magistrates/judges were nobility not bad, but I'd have a target on my back for sure so not great either.

So world building question? I assume by alicorns Celestia and Luna are still ruling? is pony racism common or is it just old noble houses that still do that? what's the tech level and aesthetic that your world delivers? eh heh oops I might be spamming questions.

NO worries, I adore lore questions! The multi-question rule is mostly for drawn answers. It's hard to incorporate answers in a story, while having it flow well, but there's no concern of flow when it comes to OOC answers.

The princesses are still ruling! As for when this takes place, don't worry about it yet. I'm hoping the story itself will give enough context clues.

Pony racism is incredibly uncommon, and considered widely socially unacceptable. Even within nobility, it's only a small subset that are still very... "Old world".

Pony racism lacks rationale, but in Equestria, it also lacks convenience for the oppressors.

To think unicorns are the only ponies that should exist, is to want a world where twenty ponies raise the sun instead of one, and weather is a talent to be earned as a job that needs a large chunk of population to do. Not to mention, those unicorns think agriculture is beneath them, so they're pretty much asking for a famine. Such a belief is archaic.

When it comes to inter-species racism... That's an entirely different subject matter. An idea of superiority even the mane 6 have with too much ease. It's so ingrained in the ponies to think ponies are the only ones capable of friendship. Of something necessary for a society to function. Another subject to tackle in the future!

Anyway, the tech level and aesthetic, I'm sticking to in-show canon. Mostly non-electronic, but cameras exist clearly. No TV, but a unicorn can use a spell to make a recording or presentation.

This.... might be a bit of a stretch but... since it's men's mental health month as well as pride month and pride month is about identity as well as love and self love is very important too how about a metamorph changeling king in the autism flag colors for those neurodivergent kings out there who do their best despite what life has given them?

Honestly, forgot it was men's mental health month! But someone who's also autistic myself (high functioning, to be clear), of course I can do this! Might not be the traditional pride things I've done, but still!
