I’ve read the book 3 times in preparation for this movie, and I absolutely love the book. After reading the book and knowing that the master himself (Spielberg) was turning the book into a film was like the most meta thing to ever happen in movie history. In my opinion the film out-does the book buy and large, but I would say I like the way the book handles the first key but the movie does handle this quite nicely with an amazing action set piece. This movie is the not only a nerds wet dream come to life but also a brilliant love letter to gamers, movie lovers, and pop culture enthusiasts. This film was made for the nerd just as the book was, and i think even people who don’t know every little pop culture reference will also have a blast with this movie. Also this movie feels kind of like a where’s Waldo book come to life, you can spot so many characters that I’m sure I missed about 70% of the characters shown on screen. A++ Spielberg!!! Bearizona is the coolest wild animal park on the planet. It’s a drive-thru zoo and you can get an arms length away from the animals it is amazing. One the coolest experiences ever.
