Simblr, Let's Get Talking! is a new thing by @freezerbnuuy which is kind of a combo of Simblr Question of the Day anon, the similar blog, and the Simblr Story Question of the Day I used to run.

You know, I came back just as a lot of people were leaving this community, and I'd like to try and breathe some life back into it. Also I've been enjoying making new blogs and new headers...

I ended up taking the story QOTD one down because it burned me out, which is why I like the idea of a more general SQOTD. I can think of allsorts of questions to ask about every corner of the game and community for every day, which is a lot easier. Since I also run a weekly challenge, I will not be reblogging any answers to this blog because I don't want to burn out and delete this if people have fun with it.

The 'get talking' is because so many people online feel bad for, or like they aren't allowed to, talk about their stuff sometimes - so it gives people a space to talk about their games, Sims etc. I'm also thinking of possssibly making some rebloggable Ask Games, offering mini challenges and possibly some Ask Challenges as well. Obviously, as with anything like this, there's zero obligation to answer everything.

If you're a creator publishing free CC, you can submit your work to be featured in the new Community tab of my Refreshed Main Menu mod!

It isn't anything overly complex: it displays the CC, some info about it, and a link. But it highlights free community content for PC/Mac players. The content updates automatically, so it changes frequently and new CC can show up often.

Not a creator? You can still help by engaging with this post to spread the word! :)

The fact that you might not have your queue filled does not make you any less of a creator, not to mention a person.

The fact that you only have one/two/several/not as many as you'd like posts planned/queued does not make you and your content less fun and nice to share the platform with.

If you have time, ideas, and willingness to plan posts with content in advance - that's awesome, and it will certainly make you and your followers beam with joy, but everyone is just a human, and it is more than okay if you don't have time/ideas/possibility/desire to queue, or even simply post, no matter how long it takes.

You (and certainly your life, but still it’s yours!) decide on your posting frequency/basis.

Even if you are "inconsistent", or absent for any reason, there are always people who will stay and wait for you and your awesome content.

Even if someone departs for whatever reason, there will be new people around for you to create for and share all the joy and satisfaction with.

But most importantly, when you're back, be the person who you want to create for and share that joy and satisfaction with the most.

I love you guys. You are doing great, even if you're actually…not doing anything here, like, literally. You belong here, your presence matters, and your absence, no matter the reason and length, does not contradict it, even if it may sound like a paradox. It is not one, trust me.
