i need to get this off my chest (HEAVY TW)

im a cold case enthusiast, specifically interest in cases that involve teens and queer people.
recently, whilst on the subreddit r/gratefuldoe, i came across a case from Köln, Germany. this case involved someone who was possibly a cosplayer, due to the outfit she was found in. that is one of my special interests.
at first, i was excited in the morbid way i get when a case sparks my interest. this combined some of my favorite things in anime, cosplay, and cold cases. the only facial photo on file wasn’t even a true postmortem, but a graphic crime scene picture. that graphic photo of her face bloody and battered only drew me in more with how simply horrific it was.
then, whilst checking the post that started it all, i saw what would have been amazing news: there was a possible match.
for cold case enthusiasts, this is a time of celebration. this time, it wasn’t.
a quick search of her username revealed that she was a groomer, a pedophile. she was a fucking pedophile, who was wanted for raping a minor under the age of 15 in Poland.
despite never meeting her in life, and never having any sort of connection to her aside from a post on a cold case sub, i feel betrayed. i feel betrayed for feeling worried about her. i feel betrayed for devoting even a minute of my time trying to find information.
she ran off with a fucking minor, seemingly fetishizing the life of the main characters from Happy Sugar Life, a manga that i can only liken to Lolita with aged down characters. she played the role of Humbert Humbert, and the girl that went missing with her was her Lolita.
they created a suicide pact. as far as i know, only she has been found.
i pray that death has spared the missing girl.
i hope and pray that only this monster was taken by the river she was found in.
i hope that justice is served.
