Does anyone else have like. Canon divergent staples among their aus?

Like, almost every persona 4 au I make has to have shadows/personas as having their own sentience or whatever. I'm a big fan of when the persona acts like an inner voice to the user. Or persona specifically having distinct personalities based on the shadow + whoever they're derived from.

#thoughts of nothing #i wouldn't rlly call them persistent Headcanons either because theyre like. blatantly noncanon?#Headcanons have always felt like theyre plausible in offscreen contexts or to explain unexplored concepts #i think if the IT all could still talk to their shadows/persona theyd mention it #ive read a few fics with personas having their own personality and they're so fun #currently reading one where a shadow developed their own ego after being left to fester in the tv world #its such a cool idea to me #i love the IT shadows so much its crazy
