Regional Ponyta -> Rapidash: based on the Pegasus in the normal evolution; based on the Ethiopian Pegasus in the specialized evolution

Ponyta: Flying

Rapidash: Flying; evolves at level 30

Special Rapidash: Flying/Ground; evolves at level with special ability as a Ponyta and on a very specific island, kinda like Dusk Lycanroc

Regional Dratini evolution: based on the Olm, which are found primarily in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, and northern Italy; evolves from Dratini at Level 30 in or near an underwater water source (river or lake)

Regional Dragonair evolution: based on Indonesian/Javanese/Balinese dragons & Nagas; evolves from Dragonair at Level 50, 50/50 chance in getting either color when evolving

Sea Krait Ekans/Arbok Regional Variant: the red/black one is based on the Red-headed Krait with some Spelon berry characteristics; is also the rarest out of all 5 of its variants

Ekans: Poison

Red/Black Variant: Poison/Fire

Sea Krait Ekans/Arbok Regional Variant: the white/black one is based on the Malaysan Krait with some Engima berry characteristics, and the blue/green one is based on the Blue-lipped Sea Krait with some Apicot berry characteristics; white/black one is more uncommon and the blue/green one is the second rarest out of all 5 variants

White/Black Variant: Poison/Psychic

Blue/Green Variant: Poison/Water

Haunted Greek String Instrument-like Pokemon: Grass/Ghost; both variants would very similar in stats; based on the Bouzouki and Lyra from Greek Culture

With the new Pokemon Winds & Waves coming, I’d thought that I could create some fan-based Pokemon concepts

Keep in mind that I currently don’t know if the game’s region is going to be based off of the South Aegean Sea Islands in Greece or Indonesia, so I just went with both.

Amphisbaena-like Pokemon: evolves from Scovillain; Grass/Fire; evolution only obtainable in the region

Cockatrice-like Pokemon: Poison/Flying; able to obtain from imposter eggs that can be found in Arbok/Blaziken/Seismitoad nests; 1/50,000 chance of finding an egg

Minotaur-like Pokemon: Ground

Indonesian Butterfree: Poison/Bug

Redesign of the “Mimicore” from Dragons: Rescue Riders
