Alolan Charizard and Charmander

Decided to kinda revisit some "Alolan" regional form designs I made almost a decade ago. (I can't believe it's been that long... )

In the Pokémon stuff, there’s the little fire-Dino lookin dude named Charmander, right? Then he turns into Charmeleon, and finally Charizard.

Who came up with the pronunciations?

It’s an outrage.

We have Charmander, which is Char + salamander. The ‘mander’ at the end is pronounced like in ‘salamander’. Cool. Love it.

Then there’s Charmeleon: Char + chameleon. The ‘meleon’ is pronounced like in ‘chameleon’. Awesome, I love what we’re doing here.

AND THEN THERE’S STUPID CHARIZARD

If we went with how the previous two were pronounced, his name would sound like Char + lizard and would thus rhyme with lizard or wizard. But NOOO. SOMEONE HAD TO MAKE IT RHYME WITH SHARD AND CHARD AND CHARRED.
