I swear to whatever being is beyond that I will care for this girl. I commit myself to making her happy, to helping her become her most confident self, to help her become self realized and self sufficient. To helping her reach her current dreams and to supporting her as she builds a foundation to peer into the future from. Her happiness beckons my own, her sadness pierces my shell and I become struck down.

I fear within myself of losing her as she becomes more, that she will go beyond me and I will be left behind. I promise myself, I swear that I will not let this weakness stop me from helping her become all that she is capable of being. I give unto her my essence, I put in her care my trust.

I can do no less, such is the love I feel for her. Everytime I look into her eyes and see them light up looking at me, when her smile breaks on her face, I know I am the luckiest man alive. When she takes my hand and places it on her hip, when she looks into my eyes and her lips part, her body quavering, I know, nothing on this earth is better than that moment. When she holds my hand, and our paces match perfectly, our conversation flowing without effort, laughter booming from our bellies, I know this intimacy is unmatchable. When any of a thousand memories mix in my mind, when I close my eyes and see nothing but her face, when the scent of her lingers in the air, I know this is all I want forever.

I swear, again, I promise, again, I will forever care for, support, and put first this girl. My girl.
