Draft Mare

I've gotten to ride once this week, then it was too hot, and now it's too smokey. This summer can sod right off.

Two kids with two different philosophies. One would rather stand in the shade all day, and the other never comes up for air.

He's back! And he touched his nose to my fingers when I ran out to see him this morning. I'm so happy. I have been so worried about him.

Driving along and suddenly there is a Nuggie. Thankfully I was just driving around the farm to deliver water to the back pasture.

Now there is a brown cat coming around and eating from the food bowl.

This weather is lame. Finally got to ride my pony after not riding for almost two weeks other than a lesson. Was done by 7am and it was already starting to get gross.

While obsessively cycling through my cameras as my neighbors spent another night shooting off explosives, I caught this little one so asleep she was about to nose dive off the perch.

Tonight is the babies' first night sleeping in the coop. There was some serious temper tantrums happening to start. I snuggled them up with an auntie on both sides, and by my third check everyone was falling asleep.
