Hi all! You might remember me (or not) I was decently active in the FR tumblr community a number of years ago. Well, my special interest has consumed me once again so I’ve remade this blog!

do you think they literally forgot to add hatchlings to the dressing room?? i imagine its a little tedious to add each one but surely they have the exact same mechanics as the ancient species (no apparel, only skins). so i dont rly understand why it take so long

u have to save the hatchling scry and copy the id of the scry (ex. "5154444" in the image below) into SCRYID and then change the SKINID to the skin number.
et voila u can preview it manually

I will say, FR has a pretty good track record for listening to it's users and I foresee them making a lot of changes to the UI as time goes on
I do kind of wish they had implemented a beta test for the UI update though, something you could toggle on and off if you didn't want to participate. I think the fact that they did not do this and instead released a half-finished update you can't opt-out of was not one of their greatest choices. I would have happily taken part in a beta test and I'm sure many others would have too, and maybe there wouldn't have been quite as many issues/complaints

OOF..... I haven't been inclined to play Flight Rising anytime recently, but I hopped on to check out the update, and I gotta say........ man, as happy as I am to see them integrate responsive page layouts (shoutout mobile players) I am quite tired of websites overhauling their UI to be cleaner, rounder, more "modern". Also I hate the font changes they've made. I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get used to it and I wish there was an option to use legacy style/fonts. (also I'm flabbergasted they didn't go with a brown dark theme)
