10 years of ongoing torment and blinding until their spirits were broken

Mortha to this day doesn't really recall how she managed to escape, whether for once luck was on her side or the gods took a sliver of pity on her just this once but she managed to get out, but was forced to then keep living on with the fact that she may be one of the only ones left

Sensitive and gentle-hearted, she is a kind soul but can come across as rather timid. Often times than not questioning herself and doubting all she feel, feeling a lot of self-blame.

She can hold herself well in a fight, but she would rather deal with everything through diplomacy and talk rather than spilling blood.

She feels like her failure not only took away the blessing she once had but turned Auri-El away from her entirely, and try as she could she could never repent for it.

Vermith Fandas

Born and raised in the Imperial City by her father, Mertthe (her mother passed away when she was still very young). She doesn't remember her mother at all, but a part of her still misses her

She was 8 when Vivild first entered their lives but that hardly mattered to her. Though younger than Vivild but still calls him the “little brother” all the same, as she feels more entitled to the title than him. Screw age, she knows more than he does thereby that makes her the bigger sibling.

Over time, her relationship with father grew more tense as one choice Mertthe made involving Vivild was something she found herself less agreeable to. The only reason she kept the farce up was to keep the peace between herself and her family. She began fighting with her father a lot when they were alone, and out of sheer guilt of being complicit of his actions, she started avoiding Vivild as well, their friendship eroding quickly.

She grew up choosing to hang with the Thieving guild in the city, as it was the one place she knew she could fully avoid her family and have the space to breathe and be herself

When her and Vivild set out to travel the realms, the Ambush on Skyrim's border felt like a miracle for her and she was able to flee, leaving Vivild behind in the aftermath

She fled to Riften, where Brynjolf ended up taking an interest in her and took her under his guild's wing with a little compromise: That she'd help him find newer recruits

Later joins the Dark Brotherhood after they show intrigue of her stealing their kill

Very solitary. She doesn't mind company but prefers the quiet above all else. She keeps her close circle fairly small and rarely branches out.

Doesn't have a lot of friends, but Brynjolf could potentially be one of the few she considers as such

She doesn’t question morals much and tends to just do whatever benefits her more.

Dual-handed wielder but would often favour the bow as well

Doesn't know a lot of spells but perhaps that might change in the near future

Hypertropia strabismus in her left eye, she often struggles with aim and deals with a chronic headaches
