Yo this is Dr.Nharon or Dr.N if you can't pronounce it, no biggie.
I work in various areas throughout the hospital but I'm most often in ICU and ED. I am a Psychologist who specializes in patients with chronic or terminal illnesses but you can see me for anything.
I am 50, Queer, and have several diagnosis of my own. You can often catch me with anything from crutches to my walker. Depends on the day.

Background:
Asta was born to a mother who was already Ill. Shortly after his birth she died due to complications with vascular Ehlers danlos. Due to this he grew up in the foster care system where he was treated about as well as you'd think. For years he was abused and neglected. Due to medical neglect and lack of knowledge he wasn't diagnosed with Pots, Ehlers danlos, and ME until he was much older. He went into college for psychology and did his residency at PTMC. After graduation he was lucky enough to get a job there. Thanks to his residency he had already made himself comfortable. Throughout college his symptoms only worsened. After struggling for years him and his team of Drs eventually found the right mix of medication, physical therapy, and aids to make his life livable and keep him doing his job.
Now he's worked at PTMC for nearly 20 years and is a common sight. He is still passionate about his work and loves it. He spends his days showing young people with chronic conditions they can still have a life. His romantic life is pretty drab but he doesn't mind. He prefers his quiet home with his animals.
