Finally found myself a copy of Ringo & Dark Horse today :) they’re in such good condition (the sleeve of Ringo is a big beat up but it has the illustrated lyric booklet inside which is in brand new condition, and the vinyl for both is in fantastic shape!!) and the prices were so good too. So happy yippee ⭐️🪷🖤

my favourite part of get back + some teddy boys

It's also a fan favourite and much easier to perform I'm sure than something like "Helter Skelter," which I was fortunate enough to see him do November 18, 2025 in Montreal. So, the very last time Paul ever performed that song was with John sixty-two years ago. The change in key, the change in tempo, and all of a sudden it's much easier to understand the longing behind this song. The ache to simply hold the hand of the person you love and to tell the world we belong to each other, something boys/girls; men/women have been able to do for, I'm sure in some instances, hundreds of years. Something that John and Paul, two young men barely out of their teenage years, and who made their fame writing a song about holding someone's hand while they sat "eyeball-to-eyeball" and was inspired by "someone I was in love with at the time," never got the chance to do. I cry every time I hear this version.

Anyone can read the stories on AO3! Kids can read them! They’re getting exposed to stabbing, poisoning, even guns! And they’re writing the heroes doing the killing, too! That’s basically telling kids it’s okay to go out and murder their families. It’s promoting violence and encouraging homicide and if we don’t do something about it soon, you’ll be murdered next!
