Hi there. I would like to purchase a pair of dr martens for my husband and i am coming to Brisbane in 2 weeks. Its for a gift for his birthday. He used to have a pair when he was in his 20s but they were stolen. I wanted to surprise him with a pair but im not sure what size to get. He is a 10/11 AU mens and i do recall him saying his old ones were a 10UK would this be correct?

Hiya!! Hope that we’re not really stupidly late with response here, 10UK is the same as Aussie sizes so like most steel caps 10 = UK 10 BUT sneakers genuerally are UK 10=US 11/12... We guarantee our fit though, but something feels familiar, like I think I may have served you when you were in here, possibly someone with a similar request. However if its not tooo late I’d love to assist you in getting the best pair, we also exchange on Gifted Dr Martens!! Weehoo! HAve A Doc Day!

Hi Angelus, So very sorry we only have 4UK and 6UK left available, they do run really large, I tried to fit the 6uk (my usual size) and it was massive. So there could be options for smaller shape fit, if you aren’t 100% sure on the UK 5 size. If you are not local I can measure the UK 4 length for you! If of course you have tried on a few and that’s definitely good for you then, don’t settle for smaller or bigger they’ll hurt...
