You know what, those are some pretty good reasons, not gonna lie to you! I never really thought about it like that either, which I probably should’ve but I just watch ‘em because I’m a huge fan of competitive baking. The giant cake ones give me too much anxiety because of all the things that could possibly go wrong. 

I thought so. It’s just so stressful. Especially if it’s continuous. Like if it’s different people every week it’s fine, but if its the same people and I grow attached and they leave, then I’m sad. I watched an old Halloween one this past year, and this woman was making this sugar clock that completely shattered. Totally valid, I do the exact same thing. I’m always happy to listen, maybe just in smaller doses. Absolutely! It always sucks when you get that weird feeling that you don’t belong but then you remember that you worked hard to get where you are, so that’s all that matters. Yes, every day definitely. Crying every day is just a normal occurrence here.

i got duke a little dog tux and my mum altered it to include a little ring container in the back. keeps them safe and he won’t get a chance to inhale them. coolest aunt is guaranteed, i promise. but that’s not really winning, if they’re not in the contest tbh. going from strength to strength, doll and you’re not even close to being thirty yet. how unfair.

Do you watch any other of the holiday shows? Like the Spring Baking Championship? Or are you really only into watching them during this time of year? I’m definitely gonna be tuning into the Beat Bobby Flay holiday show! I totally understand it, there’s just something about stressful competition that’s enjoyable.

No, only the Christmas ones. I find Christmas baking so much more fun than any other kind of baking. Everything is so pretty and colorful and really rich, things for Spring Baking Championship are too light and as much as I love Halloween, I hate the flavors. I can’t watch top chef or the ones where they make the giant cakes that could break or anything, and I don’t watch the ones where people get kicked off over time, either. Those make me sad.
