The 7th house is how you feel about everyone. The relationship. The partner. But also the public. This house represents everyone else who isn’t you.

While other people can be found in other houses, everyone also is part of your 7th house. This is just what I have found to be the case. It does not always represent your partner - after all what about when you’re single? The 7th house is still going to play out some way in your life and it will be through whoever is in front of you.

Sun in 7th: you generally feel quite positive about other people, they give you energy and you give them energy. But if the Sun is stressfully aspected it can also come with challenges. You feel very sure of yourself when it comes to other people, you define yourself and your authority with them very strongly.

Moon in 7th: you feel quite emotional and up and down about people. You might block and unblock people a lot. You go through waxing and waning with people. You feel sensitive and motherly about people. But you also feel angry about them too. It is rarely stable.

Mercury in 7th: you feel quite rational about other people. You listen to them, you understand them. Even if you don’t agree with them, there’s a sense of you being able to step back from your own feelings to listen to what they’re saying and not let them affect you. You’re able to put boundaries easily.

Venus in 7th: you feel diplomatic and peaceful about other people, but also feel like you have to conceal and hide your true self around them, because you fear disapproval and disharmony.

Mars in 7th: you feel angry and passionate about people. It’s love hate all the time. You feel energetic and driven about people, and like to champion them. But they also rile you up easily. You don’t generally have an easy time around other people there’s always some sort of argument sparking out of nowhere. Blocking and unblocking.

Jupiter in 7th: you feel positive about other people mostly. You feel they uplift you. You feel like they’re teachers and give you wisdom and life experience. You feel like people expand your life not restrict it. You feel open and a bigger person around other people and may feel smaller when you’re on your own.

Saturn in 7th: you feel burdened and inconvenienced about other people. You feel like they weigh you down. You like to feel free on your own, and others just hold you back or introduce some sort of restriction. You don’t feel you can easily be yourself around other people, and you feel scrutinised by them. Like you can’t even move your body the same way you move it when you’re alone. You also feel very judgemental of them too, like they must meet high standards constantly. You feel calmer alone.

Uranus in 7th: you feel rebellious and disruptive about other people. You feel like they bring disruption to you, but you also sometimes feel like you can bring disruption to them. You feel rebellious about people. Which means you don’t feel like you need to follow the traditional rules of relating with people. This can be good or bad. It often means you might upset people a lot as you struggle to follow social norms.

Neptune in 7th: you feel like other people are a tide you can’t out swim. They always seem to pull you in. Even when you try to have boundaries, they get easily eroded. You feel like running from other people but you feel like you have to be compassionate towards them. Some sort of sacrifice is demanded in your approach to everyone you encounter, like you have to put your feelings and needs last.

Pluto in 7th: you feel volatile and intense about other people. You feel like they’re more powerful than you sometimes which triggers power dynamics where you try to get your power back. You feel intense about people in general, like you can’t even be in the same room as people sometimes because drama always starts. But others also have the potential to make you feel empowered, transformed and powerful too. So it’s a double edged sword.

Chiron in 7th: you feel awkward and sensitive about/around other people. Even if you’re extroverted, you need a lot of alone time. You feel wounded around them all the time, or like you’re having to face your wounds.

your brain moves FAST. you usually notice something and immediately have a reaction before you’ve even had time to properly explain why you reacted that way. you can be very quick at spotting what is happening in a situation and you’re not naturally someone who wants to sit around analysing something forever before saying what you think. if someone is being confusing, avoiding the point or taking ages to make a decision, your brain can get impatient because you already understand what you think the issue is. you may also have a habit of remembering the exact moment something happened because your mind stores things through action and reaction. you’re probably much more direct when you’re comfortable too, and people who only know you casually might be surprised by how blunt or funny you can become once you stop filtering yourself. the interesting thing is that you can also argue with yourself very quickly because one thought leads to another before the first one has even finished. your mind needs movement, otherwise it gets bored.
