➺ Pinch-hitters are backup writers or artists who step in if a participant has to drop out of the event. ➺ If needed, you'll be contacted and asked to take over a project. ➺ When signing up, you'll be asked to choose a minimum of 3 projects you'd be willing to step in for. ➺ Do note that pinch-hitters should be able to work fast and under time pressure, especially if contacted later in the event!

What’s a Bang again?

A Bang is a type of fan challenge in which writers and artists work together to produce new collaborative content for the fandom. In a normal bang, like this, the writer signs up first and submits a summary of their idea, and then the artist claims the person they want to create for based on the summaries provided.

The theme for this years Bang is Angst/Whump - which is completely optional.

Who can join?

This event is open to all creators of all abilities, in any stage of their fandom journey – a fun opportunity for the Skk nation to come together and celebrate the various relationships between Nakahara Chuuya and Dazai Osamu in all its variations.

What are the artist requirements?

Traditional/digital artists must create a minimum of one stylistically complete work or a flat coloured work, to the best of your ability.

Graphics-makers must make a minimum of two edits.

Moodboard-makers must make a minimum of one moodboard with 6 panels.

Icon-makers must make a minimum of eight icons.

Cosplayers must create a minimum of four images (one costume minimum).

There are no maximum limits, but all work must be finished, in their entirety, by the final due date.

If you enjoy bringing ideas to life through art, whether that's illustrations, graphics, edits, moodboards, icons, or cosplay (+skk!), and you think collaborating with a writer to create something new for the skk fandom sounds fun, this event is for you!

Q. What is a Bang?

A bang is a type of fan challenge in which writers and artists work together to produce new collaborative content for the fandom. Unlike last year, this year's SKKBB will be a Normal BigBang where writers will sign up first, write a summary of the idea they want to create for, and then the artists will choose a writer based on the summary provided to work with.

This event will have an OPTIONAL theme, which will be voted on by everyone. The Theme Voting Form will open tomorrow and will run till April 20. You may choose to either run with the theme or choose to discard it and create something entirely new, it's upto you! Whatever you decide, it'll definitely be interesting!

Q. Who can Participate?

This event accepts writers, graphics-makers, comic artists, traditional artists, illustrators and cosplayers. Whether this is your first time participating in an event or you’re a fandom event veteran, it’s all fine as long as you’re 18+, interested in meeting new friends and providing new content for the fandom! This is NOT an NSFW free event, so NO MINORS allowed.

𝄢 What is this? What is a “mixtape” exchange? A mixtape exchange is a fandom gift exchange - with a twist! Instead of choosing prompts, you choose one song that will serve as inspiration for your gift. This was inspired by @aftg-mixtape, who originally came up with the idea!

This event is specifically a Soukoku Mixtape and thus will be focused on the relationship between Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya from the manga and anime series “Bungou Stray Dogs”.
