!!!! It’s the boy!! Himself! The birthday man! God I remember when I started homestuck. I was there since the beginning. I was there page one when it started. Seven-eight year old me moved John from the beginning. The homestuck fandom is so toxic and I understand why there are people that despise it, but I also invite those people to tell me if it’s the comic or the people they hate. I generally like to avoid homestucks at conventions unless I know them personally or they’re a friend of a friend of mine. But the comic itself? I adore it to its very core. I adore how awesomely stupid it is, how tear jerking it can be at times. And after these TEN WHOLE YEARS I’m starting to like characters I used to hate! While homestuck will probably go down in history as one of the worst fandoms aside from overwatch, it will always be near and dear to my heart. I always say to my friends ‘ohmg homestuck in 2019!?’ But to be quite frank I love seeing my friends as into it as I am. I don’t wanna be the only one into homestuck. And I don’t wanna be friends with the 12 year olds who skipped to act five and make bucket jokes at conventions. I just. Homestuck is great. If you have nothing to do and a chance to read it I definitely would. There’s even wonderful people at Voxus on YouTube dubbing it so you can get through the endless walls of text. All I’m saying is don’t hate the art, hate the people that interpret it. Happy 4/13 y’all!! Good luck with your feeds being COVERED in homestuck!
